Chp 2 Frowning

Frowning at the rain they can't help but hide under the little overhang on the building their on, why a building rooftop has a overhang they aren't sure, but they aren't complaining.

They could easily slip into the shadows, travelling back home in but an instant if they so desired but they don't care to at the moment, it could be that their tired, given how many people have come to them for healing today, which they find a little strange, given how crime has gone down a bit with all mighty blow up dolls arrival back in Japan.

Not that they are stupid to believe it isn't still going strong, just moved more underground for now but it was in the day time all the criminals wanted healing, they were kinda expecting it at night but not a lot of criminals or hero's for that matter are going to be out tonight, given how it is raining cats and dogs.

They aren't like their host, who wants to save civilians with a smile like the blow up doll, they don't want to be a hero, they aren't that kind, they don't want popularity or whatever it is humans crave, can't be bothered to follow rules they don't care for or even understand, they don't feel guilty or care when they kill people cause they have in fact killed people, brutally at that given shadows are not kind, especially when allowed to touch the living, to grip a solid light in their embrace.

True the number of people they have killed can be counted with one hand but it still doesn't change the fact they have no moral qualms doing so whether in self defence or in the defence of others.

Maybe cause they aren't really human? at least they don't think they are anyway, being a quirk and all... they know they look human, like their host actually, just with solid silver hair and eyes.

Strange, given they are a being made of shadow, one would think he would have black hair and eyes not silver.

Feeling their shadows flicker they easily dodges the attack by the hero attempting to get the drop on them, an impossible task really, because even in broad daylight shadows are always there.

Eyeing the fool attempting to capture them they realise its a low rank hero, tictac or whatever he's called, they don't really care to pay attention to hero's other then to heal the ones that come to them for help.

Not that it matters though, they continue to easily dodge the hero while they let their shadows whisper to them, telling them about the hero before them and when they hear that this so called hero has actually committed crimes unbefitting a so called hero they frown, hero or villain they don't care but it annoys them when villains don hero suits and lie and cheat people into adoring them when their not who they say they are. They let a Cheshire grin adorn their face, for some reason catching the hero off guard with their sudden change in facial expression but grinning wider all the same as fear suddenly dons his face, eyes widening in horror as their shadows engulf him, traps him they chuckle and then the fake hero is gone, as if he was never there.

Listening to the screams of panic, of fear, to the begging and the cursing before they make way to agonising pain that only they can hear In the depths of their shadows they chuckle even louder, all but gasping for air they don't even need to breathe in their mirth at the humans slow agonising torture.

No neither they or their shadows are kind.

They are not their host, they will never be a hero, doesn't want to be.

They just want to help whoever needs it.

If not deserves.
