Chp 6 the confusing vigilante

Staring at the all mighty blowup doll that suddenly punched his way into The weird building their in they consider killing him, cause they doubt shigarakis pet... thing is going to do it.

After all if they kill blow up doll then shigaraki and Kurogiri can go home on a job well done and then they can heal Aizawa faster.

Honestly the only reason they haven't done so yet is because then their host would be also feeling the not nice feeling, only worse and upset with them.

They... doesn't really get why that matters though? Not like they have truly cared for or about their host before anyway. Not really.

It's not like their host is one of their favoured and outside of them they don't tend to care about others unless they are injured.

It's very confusing.

Watching the fight they can't help but be entertained, they don't usually get to see such intense fights.

Mostly because they usually shadow steps the ones fighting each other onto opposite sides of the city if they don't want to move when they are fighting near them.

They don't like fighting, whether just watching it or being engaged in battle.

Not that that is a issue, either absorb ''em into his shadows or shadow step them far away from them, cause they have never been forced to really fight.

They kind of wonder why this fight is different though that they are actually enjoying the fight... maybe it is cause they don't like blowup doll and shigarakis pet thing isn't really alive?

Actually that should definitely be the case, they like zombie movies, only kind of fight they really like seeing, their amusing even if they do find the human aspect confusing like always.

Tilting their head when their host intervenes they wonder if they should just shadow step him away from everything. Their stupid host is trying to ruin the only battle they find enjoyment out of!

That and while it isn't likely, they want the thing to kill blowup doll, that way they can prevent more injuries to everyone, they can heal Aizawa and their host can't blame them for blow up dolls demise!

It would be hitting three cans with one stone! No four cans cause then shigaraki would also be happy!

Though they don't understand why they care that their favourite villain is happy, just that they do.

Weird.

Unfortunately that doesn't happen, blowup doll wins and more hero's show up, their shadows easily protecting shigaraki from the bullets fired at him.

Like they would let any more of their favourite humans get hurt. especially with them right here next to them.

Waving fare well at shigaraki as he glances at them, shigiraki nods before disappearing into Kurogiris warp gate and then is suddenly left alone in the building filled with hero's and hero wannabes.

Ignoring them their shadows instantly surround Aizawa, freaking out the hero students, though for some reason not the real hero's and a second later they are gone and Aizawa is fully healed, even if a scar remains near his eye.

Cause while their shadows can heal about anything, even regrow missing limbs scars are inevitable.

It's also only about everything cause he can't magically heal people back to life if their head or heart goes missing or cold.

They are not god.

For some reason, despite appearing alongside their favoured villains, still standing in the place they were when they left none of the hero's or hero wannabes have yet tried to attack them or arrest them.

Well ok that's a lie, their hosts top bully tried to only to be held back by a red haired spiky dude and the real hero's.

They vaguely heard the pros talking to their hosts classmates about them but they were too deep in their own head to pay attention, not that they particularly cares either way but it is strange.

They have already healed all the villains that shigaraki sought out for this excursion, along with some of the hero wannabes so they don't exactly know why they are still here.

They pointedly did not heal blowup doll, fuck 'em, they don't heal people they don't like.

They do find it interesting watching their host interact with others outside of his body, it is also amusing to watch him constantly have to flounder and assure his class mates that no he does not have a twin and no he has no idea why they look so much like him.

Maybe a reason they stay here is because they want to see who will be the first to approach them, wants to see which hero will try something, whether to bring them into custody or for some reason let them go.

Feeling someone softly touch their hand they blink, confused before looking down and at the rat who is currently smiling while holding their hand.

"Hello there young Shadow healer! Thank you for healing almost everyone here, you have our gratitude, would you mind coming back to UAs main building and answering some of our questions about what happened here and your role in it?" The rat asks and thinking about it for a bit they blink, staying at the rat king.

For some reason the rat takes that as a yes and gently pulls them along towards the buildings exit, not really noticing how everyone's eyes follow and stare at them.

They could easily leave, no one, not even Aizawa if he was awake could stop them if they truly wanted to... they don't though, finding this an interesting experience so they follow without resistance.

Sides... for some reason they want to see and interact with their host, wants to be close to him...

Which is decidedly weird, they have never wanted to before... so why now? Is it because their host has now seen them with his own eyes, has seen them in the light of day?

Is it the connection between them, being quirk and host? That they can't help but want to be near their host now that their host now knows they exist even if not their connection to each other?

If so... they want to break it... that connection.

If their host knows about them fully... will they be able to resist the pull that they have to their host and continue to live their own life...?

They don't want to be controlled, to be tamed like the bird boy over their and his sentient quirk.

They.... Just want to be free.

Even if they don't know what freedom they crave or what freedom truly is.
