I wake up in a wonderful way. For a moment I was afraid that last night was a dream, but I actually wake up in Kimberly's arms. I turn in her arms when I can hear her starting to wake up too. "Good Morning Sunshine". Her eyes are still closed, but a smile appears on her face. "Good morning beautiful". I wrap my arms around her. "Slept good?". She nods. "Just a little short in my opinion." I kiss her on the head. "It's just past seven o'clock, so unfortunately I have to get up soon." Sighing, she shakes her head and snuggles even closer to me, if that's even possible. Which puts a big smile on my face. There is also another zoo of butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "I would also like to stay in Sunshine. But I really need to get ready." Kimberly moves away from me and looks at me with a sad face. "Why?". I give her a small smile. "Because I just have to work and Sem has to go to school". Kimberly turns on her back and sighs. "Oh, I forgot it's Friday." I put my hand on her neck and with my thumb I caress her cheek. "What time do you have to go?". She looks at me with a small smile. Only now do I see how tired she looks. Which scares me a bit. "I'll fly back at five o'clock." "Then you can stay here for a few hours. I'll try to get out of work early. Usually that is not a problem on Friday". She gives me a small nod. "But now I jump in the shower really quickly. Otherwise I will never have breakfast ready for Sem in time". I give Kimberly a kiss on the forehead and reluctantly stand up.

I'm making breakfast. Sem is half asleep at the kitchen island. "What are you doing out of bed?" I ask Kimberly who walks into the kitchen. "Kim what are you doing here?" Even before Kimberly can respond to me, Sem has already stood up. He holds her in a tight hug. "I missed my buddy". Kimberly has also wrapped her arms tightly around Sem. Kimberly looks up at me for a moment. She has a big smile on her face. "I missed you too. How long will you stay?" Sem asks when he lets go of Kimberly. "Unfortunately I fly back at the end of the afternoon". They sit down together at the kitchen island. "Should I make breakfast for you too?" I ask Kimberly as I put breakfast in front of Sem. "Only if you have the time." I give her a smile. "If I didn't have time for it, I would make time". Whatever makes her smile. "Mommy, can't you call me in sick today?". I shake my head with a smile. "I'm sorry sweetie, but we're not going to do that. You have a short day today, so you can see Kimberly afterwards".

After I have also prepared breakfast for Kimberly, I sit down next to her. She immediately slides as close to me as possible and rests her head against my shoulder. "Thank you. When I'm done, I'll quickly get dressed. So that I can go with you". I gently caress her back. "No way. You'll go right back into bed." She sighs. "I would like to spend the day with you and that way I can also say hello to my father". I kiss her on the head. "I will say hello for you to him. I don't know if you've looked at yourself in the mirror yet, but you really need a rest." She sighs and snuggles even closer to me. "I'm really not going to be able to persuade you to take me with you, am I?". I shake my head with a smile. "Kim, you need all your energy to be able to do something fun later". I see Kimberly looking up at Sem with a smile. "Okay, okay. I'll go back to bed in a bit. As long as that fun doesn't mean we're going to do your homework," she says with a wink. Unfortunately I have to cut off the conversation because otherwise Sem and I will be late.

An hour after Frederick heard that his daughter is back for a day, he sent me home. When I get home, I'm glad to see that Kimberly has gone back to bed. "Are you home already?" she asks as soon as I enter the bedroom. "I was instructed by your father to keep an eye on whether you are sleeping." She sighs. "I would like to, but I can't." I walk towards the bathroom. "Not even if I change my clothes and lie down with you?". A beautiful smile appears on her face. I don't even wait for an answer. I walk into the bathroom to quickly change. "Thank you," she says softly as I crawl into bed with her. "Don't mention it. I have a surprise for you later." She looks at me questioningly. "You are now going to sleep for a few more hours. Only then will I tell you". Sighing but with a smile on her face, Kimberly snuggles close to me. It doesn't take long for her to fall asleep. I decide to follow her lead. I've never really had any problems sleeping, but recently I've been sleeping less well if Kimberly isn't next to me.

I wake up to the front door closing. That means that Sem is home and that Kimberly and I slept for a few hours. I twist very carefully out of the arms of a still sleeping Kimberly. I quickly change and then leave the bedroom. I find Sem in the kitchen making himself a sandwich. "Hey sweetie. How was school?". He turns around with a smile on his face. "Hi mum. We haven't done that much. Shouldn't you be at work? And where is Kimberly?" I point to my bedroom. "Kimberly is still sleeping. I'll wake her up so we can do something together. But first you pack your bag". He looks at me questioningly. "Why? I'm not going to Josh until next week". I look at him with a smile. "Because we're going with Kimberly for the weekend." Sem looks at me with wide eyes. "For real?" he asks in disbelief. I nod with a big smile on my face. "Just don't say anything to Kimberly. I haven't told her yet." Sem stuffs his sandwich into his mouth and runs to his bedroom.

I went to my own bedroom. I sit on the edge of the bed. "Sunshine, it's about time to wake up," I say softly and meanwhile I gently caress her hair. It takes a while, but very slowly her eyes open. "Hey beauty," she says with a small smile on her face. "Slept good?". She nods. "Sem just got home from school, so I wanted to ask if you get up. Or do you want to stay longer in bed?". Kimberly straightens up immediately. Which gives me a big smile. "I'm going to take a quick shower and then I'll be right there. Okay?". I give her a kiss on her forehead. "Just take it easy. We'll see you show up soon." With that said I get up and leave the bedroom.

I had a really great afternoon. The three of us went to the movies and an arcade. I'm so glad Kimberly is back for a day. I really missed her. It's also great to see Sem and Kimberly together. They really are the best buddy's.

We arenow at the airport. I told Kimberly we'd take her away. She is now looking atme strangely when she sees that Sem and I also take a bag from the trunk."What are you going to do?". I give her a smile. "Sem and I are goingto Italy for a weekend". She looks at me a bit confused. "What?". Semtakes her bag from her hands. "We are going with you for the weekend. In caseit's not clear to you yet," he says laughing. Kimberly looks at Sem andthen wide-eyed at me. "You are joking". I shake my head. "Silvia isalready aware. She said it wouldn't be a problem if Sem and I came along forthe weekend". Kimberly walks over to me and gives me a hug. "You make mereally happy with that." I kiss her on the head. "I told you I hadanother surprise." She lets go of me and looks at me with a big smile."You know I could kiss you right now." Without thinking about it, Iquickly put my lips on hers. She shakes her red head with a smile. "I said Icould kiss you and not the other way around, but I'm not complaining. Let's gonow, or we'll miss our flight." When Kimberly says that she takes my handand leads me in the right direction. "You can still do it," I whisper in herear. Kimberly looks at me and doesn't seem to understand what I mean. After amoment she gets a small smile on her face. She looks around us for a moment.Then she puts her free hand on my neck and pulls my face towards her. She putsher lips against mine for a few seconds. I really have to restrain myself fromdoing anything. "Are you still coming". We are both shocked when we hear Semsay that from a distance. I just hope he can't see Kimberly and I from there.Without saying anything else, Kimberly and I walk towards Sem.
