Life is a mixture of all, isn't it? Mine was the same too. The genre for last week was completely romantic but this week is all non-fiction which made it really boring. It has been three days since I met Aditya and four nights since I slept with him. At this point, all I ask for is a bit of his fragrance and taste of his touch.

Being the head of the legal team, I was way too busy from the past four days. As I am a criminal lawyer, I mostly deal with criminal cases. Sometimes business legal issues too. But seriously, moments like this give me an update of the crime rate in India. Two days ago, I even had to go to Bengaluru to attend a meeting.

Life just hits harder when you surround yourself with a bunch of fat files that need to start dieting and another pile of snacks which wrecks your diet plan. For the past three hours I was just going through the case materials. It was around 12 o'clock and my body's very close to burn out.

In that crisis, a pop-up message from Adi charged me up immediately. Ramyeon meokgo gallae? [Korean version of Netflix and chill] The message read. A wide smile garnished my tired face.

When I was about to text him back, something hit me harder than a truck. Realization dived in as I crack the code. My smile slowly faded away when I discerned Aditya doesn't watch kdramas.

Ramyeon meokgo galle? Was our code. Me, Karthik, Priya and Gautham came up with some secret phrases and this was one among them.

I grabbed my car keys and my phone that was charging. Rushing as fast as possible I was in the basement within five minutes.

I started the car, stepped on the accelerator, and made my way to Gautham's house though I hate it. Driving expeditiously and aggressively, I reached early than I thought.

I knocked on the door more than required number of times. To be more precise, I was literally banging on the door.

That sleepy guy's sleep was all lost when he saw me in the worried state.

"Anu?" he was shocked by my presence at that time at his place. Me rushing at that pace made me breathless.  I had an intense tightening in the chest which made it difficult for me to talk.
Looking at my unstable self, Gautham was worried. Holding my arms, "Anu, are you okay?" he asked, with eyes full of concern.

"Gau - Gautham," I called his name with utmost difficulty.

"ANU, TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED GODDAMMIT!" he yelled out loud still, I perceived it as his concern towards me.

"Kar - Karthik…," Catching up with my breath, "Karthik is alive!" I spoke.
