*2 weeks later...*
I have been getting better... physically. My mental state I'd say has been getting worse. The realization of the fact it will be harder to be a star now has been sinking in. How will a star perform blind? how will a star perform?
"Tsukasa-Kun? are you ok?" Rui asked
"Y..yeah I'm fine" I responded
"Are you sure?" Rui seemed concerned
"Yes, don't worry."
Rui can not worry. I don't want Rui to worry.. Rui... Rui....
RUI'S POV
Tsukasa-Kun has not been acting himself lately. I wonder what he is thinking.... he really seems to be caught up on not being able to see, this must be so hard for him. Does he know that I'm here for him? I wonder...
"Tsukasa-Kun." I said
"Ah! Rui! what do you need?"
"I'm here for you. I care about you."
"Thank you for telling me that Rui.." Tsukasa seemed a little calmer
"You can tell me anything, you haven't been yourself lately."
"I haven't?"
"nope, you have been more quiet and reserved."
"I won't tell you anything."
"Why not? I love you Tsukasa-kun"
"I know you do but... I don't want to tell you anything."
I know I should not force it out of him but i'm truly worried... I don't want Tsukasa to feel like this but I don't want to make him feel worse by intervening.
"Say, Tsukasa-Kun~ We have a performance in a couple months." We really didn't but I just wanted to see how he reacted. if he reacted in a good way, I could schedule a performance.
"Ah, I see! how will I be able to perform like this though?!"
"Well, I could help you memorize your lines and guide you across the stage."
"Ah! that could work!" Tsukasa's eyes lit up for the first time ever since the incident "what is the show about?"
"uhm, two gay lovers who are separated by gender norms."
"Eh? who would be the gay lovers?"
"Why us of course!"
"W-What?! Rui, are you implying something?" Tsukasa was as red as a tomato
"I'll leave that up to interpretation~"
"E-Eh?!"
I love seeing Tsukasa all flustered. He seems happier now that he may get to be a star. Oh god do I love him.
TSUKASA POV
Does Rui actually like me?!
"I LOVE YOU RUI!" I yelled.
What did I just say... It slipped out!
"I love you too Tsukasa-Kun." Rui Responded, blushing
Rui pulled me close to his chest. He felt warm.... my heart was beating out of my chest. you won't believe what I did next.
