Superstition, a curious belief we hold,
In signs and omens, stories of old.
But let's embrace the magic, the mystery it brings,
As we dance with wonder, where imagination sings.

"Four surgeries, four fatalities, and the day has barely stared." George somplained. All of the itnerns were cleaning themselves up in the lcoked room. Except Amory and Alex were in a different part of the locker room, engaged in their own conversation. "Could I have a bite of that?" He asked Cristina, seeing her snacking on a candy bar.

"No, you're in my apartment," Cristina answered. She always used that as a way to get out of doing anything for George. "You don't get to be in my food."

"Dr. Burke gave me a protein bar this morning." He told her.

"He packed his lunch for him." She turned to Meredith and Amory. "Did I mention?"

"Well, I think it's sweet." The short girl said. Things were still a bit weird between George and Amory but they were starting to get back to their friendship.

"I talked to the morgue guy this morning" Izzie informed, biting an apple.

"The one with the unibrow?" Meredith asked.

"The one with the teeth thing. He said that surgical fatalities come in threes and sevens. Says there'll be three more before midnight." The tall blonde finished

"Well, then. Since teeth morgue guy said so..." Cristina joked.

"He's the morgue guy. He knows things about death." Izzie explained.

Amory shrugged as she tied back her hair. "We'll see, I guess."

Bailey entered the room, gathering up her interns. "Come one." She ordered, lazily gesturing to the hallway outside the door.

"Where?" Meredith questioned.

"ER."

"All of us?" Amory asked. It wasn't that she didn't want to work in the ER, it was just rare that all the interns would work in the ER together.

"We've all had death, let's all go save lives."

~~~~~~
"Dr. Bailey," Addison called as Bailey and her interns passed her on the way to the ER. She handed each of them a cup of hot chocolate.
"What's this?" Bailey questioned but still took the cup.
"Hot cocoa." She answered. "It's a little ritual we had in New York. Four surgeries, four deaths. I figure we could all use a little good juju."
"Juju?" All of them asked in confusion.
"Thanks, Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd," Amory murmured and took a sip, trying not to make a face as she swallowed it.
