Oh, the guilt that weighs heavy on our souls,
A burden we carry, as life takes its tolls.
But remember, my friend, we're only human,
Mistakes are made, lessons are learned, and we keep movin'.
Forgive yourself, let go, and let your spirit bloom.

"She's losing it," Meredith complained as she shoved her bag into her locker. "She almost battered and deep-fried an eight-and-a-half million dollar check this morning."

"Tha kind of money, I'd buy my own hospital," Cristina said.

"And stock it full of sick people," Amory added.

"Just imagine the valvuloplastys and ruptured aneurysms..."

"You two are psycho. You know that, right?" George stared at the two women in fear.

"You're the person who dated the psycho." Amory jokingly said. George just grumbled, turning back to his locker.

"And I'm not the one with an eight-and-a-half million dollar cheque I won't cash." Cristina defended.

"Stop talking about me. I'm fine." Izzie interjected as she sat on the bench, looking at the contents inside her locker with a box on her side. "I'm cleaning out my locker, and I'm going home."

"You sure, you can't talk the Chief into letting you back on the program?" Amory asked, not wanting Izzie to give up already.

"He was very clear about it."

The interns gathered around Bailey, waiting for her to assign them their work for the day. "M&M in fifteen minutes, people," Bailey informed them.

"Wait, we got to go to M&M? Even if we haven't finished our rounds?" Alex asked, surprised.

"Even if... I want all of you at the M&M today." The resident explained as Amory smiled to herself.

As Alex let out a cheer, she looked at him disapprovingly. "People die in this hospital on our watch. Once a month, we meet to discuss how our actions as physicians contributed to the deaths. This is a serious exercise." The resident reprimanded. At that, dread-filled Amory's stomach, though she couldn't quite figure out what it was about.

When Bailey got called away, the interns gathered around. "George, Alex, you guys get good seats, we three will get snacks," Cristina told the boys.

Just as Meredith and Cristina were leaving, Amory grabbed their arms, having figured out what she was anxious about. "Wait, wait, wait." As the both of them turned around to face the girl, she whispered, a knot in her throat. "We talk about patients who died on the M&M. Patients whose deaths have been avoidable. Patients whose death was caused by us."

As Meredith seemed to realize what the blonde meant, Cristina looked confused. "So, Amy? We get to hear our bosses being kicked in the teeth instead of us!" She sounded excited.
