You know today will be a long day if you're woken up by loud talking and doors slamming. Which is what was the case for Amory.
She opened her door to see what the fuss was all about when she saw Alex exiting the bathroom. "Hay Alex, you living here from now?"
"Yeah, I figured it was better than where I stayed previously." He explained but before either one could say more they heard Izzie talking, or more like yelling, to Meredith.
"And I was naked in the bathroom when Alex walked in. I'm lucky I didn't come out of the shower to find him peeing all over the seat." The former model said ferociously. "What's wrong with where he was living before?"
"I don't know where he was living before." They heard Meredith answer and Amory decided to get closer.
"Probably a whore house. I can't have him in the room next door, it's weird."
"Izzie, Alex is one of us. You would want us to do the same for you, don't you?" Amory butted in the conversation, defending Alex.
"But Mer doesn't like people. Is this about your mother?" Izzie turns back to Meredith.
"No, I had a near death... whatever... I was dead and now I'm not, so... I'd like to use this chance I've been given to be more positive." Meredith explained. "People are what matters. Paint with all the colors of the wind."

Later when the three interns are in the locker room, Izzie still ranting on about the fact that Alex moved into George's old room. "He's in George's room and when George's stupid marriage crashes and burns, he's gonna want to move back in, and he won't be able to. His life will be in shambles. After he finaly realizes that his dad is dead, he'll realize he made a fool of himself by marrying someone he doesn't really love, and he'll have no place to go. Is that what you want?"
"That's exactly what I want," Meredith answers sarcastically while Alex, George, and Cristina enter the locker room.
"How are you doing?" George asked Meredith since her mother died a few days ago.
"Okay, everybody, let's do this once. I'm fine. She's cremated, I picked out a beautiful urn and she's hanging out in the back of my closet. Any more questions about my dead mother, or can we get back to work?"
"It's okay to feel down about it. It's still your mom, you know." Amory said as she saw Bailey approaching them.
"O'Malley, you're with Shepherd today. Yang and Madden, Dr. Montgomery. Stevens, to the clinis. Karev, Jane Doe. Grey, scut." Their resident gave them their jobs.
