Great expectations, hopes held high,
Dreams that soar across the sky.
With anticipation, we await,
The future's path we contemplate.
In pursuit of greatness, we navigate.Amory and George were having a lot of sex. Some good sex. Great sex, even. Not together, of course; George was sleeping with Callie, a lot, and Amory was sleeping with a lot of random people. With the death of George's dad, he needed a distraction. And Amory was taking the opportunity to go through her one-night-stand phase of life.
Currently, a man from the hospital was lying on his stomach in his bed. Amory always went to their apartment or hotel room, not wanting to kick someone out of her home and deal with that awkwardness. So, she took the opportunity while the man was fast asleep to sneak out. She already had her clothes on, from putting them on in the middle of the night. She really was perfecting the art of sneaking out. She didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing, though.

"Where have you been?" Cristina asked as Amory rushed into the locker room. She had bedhead, her hair was frizzy and tangled, and her makeup was stained onto her face from wearing it all night.
Meredith smirked at her. "Either she got run over by a truck, or she's been having hot sex all night."
"One night stands?" Cristina raised a brow. "Nice."
Amory stuttered over her words, taking off her street clothes to put on her scrubs. "No." She sheepishly said, but they could tell she was lying.
"Oh, yeah, sure." Cristina smugly said, knowing she and Meredith were right. "Don't tell Sloan, he might actually make you get coffee for once."
"Yeah, it would be hilarious to see him get jealous." Meredith laughed, and Cristina laughed with her.
"He would not get jealous." Amory sternly said. "He's not 'pining over me' like you guys claim he is. We're just friends." She defiantly said. They both stared at her with looks that told Amory they didn't believe her. "I hate you both."
"We know."

Amory, Alex, and Meredith followed Mark into a patient's room. He specifically requested Amory to be on his service, which caused Meredith to smirk at the blonde. Amory just rolled her eyes in response. Maybe she was in denial that Mark had feelings for her. She didn't believe that Mark could have feelings for anyone. Except for Addison, of course.
"Jim, annoying interns, and Ams. Annoying interns and Ams, Jim." Mark bluntly introduced them to the unconscious patient. "Jim is semi-comatose, and has stage III decubitus uclers."
"Bedsores?" Alex groaned.
"Right." Mark nodded. "So, he's going to need to be debrided, have dressing changed, and have his position changed every two hours."
