"I love you so much." Mike whispered when we got back into our dorm, pushing my back against the door gently, tracing circles on my hips with his thumbs. "I love you too." I smiled shyly, cupping Mike's face with my hands and bringing his lips to mine. As soon as I fell back onto our couch our hands were all over each other. My fingers tangled in Mike's hair and rubbed at his defined jaw line, and his hands ran up and down my torso, slipping under my shirt and holding my waist. "I love you so so much." He murmured. "I love you too." I replied, smiling against his warm mouth, my heart feeling as if it was about to burst.
"Ugh I think I'm getting sick." I coughed that evening. "I hate being sick."
"Well at least you'll probably be able to miss a day of class." Mike grinned.
I laughed and then coughed again.
"Yeah." I replied, wrapping my arms around Mike's waist and resting my head in the crook of his neck. "You're lucky I'm basically immune to colds." Mike said, rubbing my back. "Because if I wasn't there's no way I'd be even near you."
"Wow thanks babe, I love you too." I said sarcastically. Mike just smiled cheekily and kissed my forehead before we went and finished our history reports.
"Tomorrow, I'm not leaving you if you stay home." He whispered as we climbed into my bunk to go to bed that night. Oh if only he had gone to class that day, and not stayed with me, maybe things would have turned out differently.
