"New school, new slate!" My mother said cheerfully. "Mom it's a boarding school." I grumbled.
"You'll be fine." She said soothingly. "I'll call when I can." I said, before getting my bags out of the trunk. I had been accepted into Clairmont Boarding School. Most kids would be happy to get into such an elite school, I on the other hand, didn't even want to apply in the first place. I only did because it's what my mom wanted. I wanted her to be happy, because she's never been truly happy since my father died seven years ago. I was ten then. Now I'm seventeen and in my last year of school before college. "Well you'd better go. Do you need me to come with you?" My mom said gently. "I'll be fine." I throw her a false smile. "Alright. Have fun! Don't get into any trouble." She smiled sadly. "I won't, mom." I laughed lightly. "I'll call you every Sunday, okay?"
"Bye, Tony. Good luck." She sighed. I kissed her on the cheek, murmured a quick goodbye, then grabbed my bags and began walking up to the doors of the school. I easily found the office and they directed to me to the student housing and my room. I thanked the uptight looking woman at the front desk, then carried my stuff the the student dorms. They weren't that bad. It was like a collage dorm, except food was provided by the school. It was furnished with a bunk bed, a small couch, and a coffee table. I chose the bottom bunk. I've always been a bottom bunk kind of person. I unpacked my things into one of the two sets of drawers and then sat down heavily on the bed. The bed was already made and clean. I pulled out my laptop and continued editing my video. It wasn't a vlog or anything. Just a very long band edit for YouTube. I had about 3k subscribers on my edit account. I finished the edit just as the door to the dorm opened. A boy, who I presumed was my roommate entered the room. And by God, he was hot. Tall, skinny, cyber bites pierced his perfectly curved lips, a SnapBack sat on top of his longish dark hair. Being the flaming homosexual that I am I stared at him. "What do you want." He growled in a smooth voice. "U-um nothing?" I stuttered. "Freak." He mumbled, tossing some stuff onto the top bunk. Ignoring the insult I introduced myself. "Umm. I'm Tony."
"Mike." He grunted.
"So you like the misfits?" I asked, glancing at his shirt.
"Look idiot, I don't want to fucking talk to you." He said fiercely. I took a step backwards. "Okay." I whispered. I have to admit, that one hurt. I logged back onto my laptop and posted the edit. Thank god the school had wifi, I would've gone insane. That when everyone went to the cafeteria I passed a sign about a play. I scanned the paper for a few minutes before I finally found what I was looking for. At the bottom left corner of the page was a small sign up section for the Tech Team. I pulled out a pen and quickly scribbled my name. Then I got some food from the caf and went back to my dorm room to do homework. After a while the door banged open and Mike and another boy entered the room. The other boy appeared to be Hispanic just like Mike. He had spiky brown hair with a bleached patch and a warm smile. "Who's the dude?" He asked Mike. I knew he was talking about me. "My new roommate. He's an idiot." Mike replied, glaring at me. I ignored him, but secretly it hurt. They sat down and the new boy helped Mike set up a TV that Mike had brought. "I have to piss." He announced after half an hour. He got up and walked out and down the hall to the bathrooms. Mike's friend also stood up but he walked over to me. "Sorry about him." He said. "Mike hasn't been doing to well lately."
I nodded.
"I'm Jaime by the way." He smiled and held out his hand. I shook it cautiously. "Tony." I replied.
"Nice to meet you." He smiled. "Oh and you just have to get to know Mike. He'll softly up eventually."
"Okay." I replied, shooting Jaime a small smiled. Jaime walked back to the TV just as Mike came back. I sighed, this is going to be a long year.A/N: Hallo! I'll be updating this story every Monday!
