okay guys, listen to me please. the reason why my writing in the future chapters is going to be so detailed and slightly triggering is that I just found out my now ex girlfriend cara has killed her self. she struggled with depression her whole life and to be honest she didn't deserve anything that happened to her. I'm not going to go too in detail with her past but as her ex boyfriend, who still loves her very much, and as someone who also struggles with mental illness, I'm going to say this:
don't ever tell someone with a mental illness that they are needy
don't ever say that they're annoying
don't ever tell them to "get over it"
don't ever tell them that their mental illness isn't valid because it's different
and don't ever tell them that their mental illness is worth less than physical illness
please, if you can, help them,
of even better, help them get the professional help they need.
