"Mikey wake up!" I said, poking my boyfriends face childishly. He groaned and opened his eyes. "What do you want." He grumbled, trying to pull me back to him but I struggled. "Mike c'mon my mom made pancakes!" I prompted. Mike sat up. "I'm awake." He said. Suddenly he picked me up and carried me downstairs, both of us laughing the whole time. Butterflies erupted where his fingers brushed my bare skin. Then Mike plopped me down in the chair at the kitchen table. "You almost dropped me!" I exclaimed.
"No I didn't." He mumbled, cupping my face with his right hand and kissing me softly. Butterflies shot through me at his sweetness. I heard and "awe" from the door way. Me and Mike jumped apart and turned. My mom stood there, smiling. I blushed bright red and buried my face in Mike's arm. "Pancakes are almost ready." My mom told us before walking into the kitchen again.
"You need a nickname." Mike declared a few hours later. "Since you call me Mikey, I need to make one for you." We were laying on my bed cuddling while my mom was at the gym. Mike
Shifted so we were laying on our sides facing each other. He studied my face and I couldn't help but blush under his gaze. "Turtle." He decided. "You're my turtle." I almost laughed out loud at that. He seemed so bad ass but in reality he was just one big kid. I kissed him sweetly, loving the "click" noise as we pulled apart. "We should get dressed." I said, realizing we were still in out pyjamas. Mike nodded and grabbed some clothes out of his bag. "I'll go to the bathroom." Mike told me. I replied with and ok before getting dressed as well.
When my mom got home I told her that I was going to meet Mike's family. The wished me luck and hugged me. "Mike do you mind if I talk to Tony for a second?" She asked my boyfriend. He nodded and left the room. "Does he make you happy?" She asked me softly.
"Yeah. At first we got off to a bad start but it was because he was trying to hide the fact he liked me." I explained. Mom nodded. "I think he's a good boy." She said, "Your father would be proud." She smiled sadly. I hugged her tightly, letting her head rest on my shoulder. "Go impress Mike's family with you awkwardness." My mom teased, pushing me back slightly. I laughed and shook my head.
"Bye mom!" I called as I left the house.
"Bye Tony! Bye Mike!" Mom replied.
When I was outside I handed Mike one of my extra skate boards. "I hope you don't live too far." I smiled, getting on mine. "Don't worry." Mike replied, skating ahead. I followed quickly. When we got there Mike let us in. "I'm home!" Mike called. "And I brought Tony!" Soft footsteps padded around the corner and a boy, maybe a year or two older than me and Mike came into view. He had wavy shoulder length brown hair, tan skin, small silver nose ring. He was wearing a baggy grey AFI sweater that was a few sizes to big. He wasn't that tall either but he still had a striking resemblance to Mike. There was a haunted look to him. I'm not sure if it was the way a fake smile was plastered to his face, or how the "smile" didn't make it to his wide brown eyes. His eyes looked empty from first glance but as I looked more I noticed how they showed that he was practically begging for help. A fading bruise cover his right one. "Mike." He said, his smile becoming real for a fleeting moment. Mike stepped forward and hugged him. "Hey Vic!" Mike said stepping away. "This is Tony, my boyfriend." He said, introducing me to his brother. "Tony, this is my big brother Vic." Mike said.
"Hey, Tony." Vic said quietly, reaching out to shake my hand. I shook it but not before I noticed how Vic's sleeve had begun to ride up. My heart practically broke when I saw what was hidden. Cuts littered what I could see of his thin arm. They weren't just little scars, they were big redish pink gashes, some stitched up, some scabbed over. Thankfully I didn't see any new ones though. "C'mon we'll show you around the house!" Mike said brightly. I followed him and Vic throughout the big house. It was nice and you could tell it was a happy home. I wondered what could have happened to Vic to make him so broken. Finally we ended up in Mike's room where we all sat down and listened to music. Vic, Mike, and I all had relatively the same taste so it worked out perfectly.I could tell that Mike cared very deeply about his older brother and he wanted him to pull through.

About 2 hours later Mike and Vic's dad came home. "Hey Papi!" Mike said happily, to the Hispanic man in the kitchen. "Did you bring your boyfriend?" Mr. Fuentes asked immediately, smiling at his son. "Yeah, this is Tony." Mike said, walking me into the Kitchen. Vic slipped past us and sat down at the table. "Just call me Papa Fuentes." Mike and Vic's dad smiled, holding out his hand for me to shake. I shook it and went and sat down with Mike and Vic.

A little while later Mike's mom came home. She was a little blonde woman who introduced herself to me as Vivian. "So you're one of Mike's friends from school?" She asked kindly.
"Boyfriend actually." Mike came up and wrapped his arm around my waist and kissing the side of my head. "Oh that's wonderful! It's about time Mike found a boyfriend." She said, smiling and clapping her hands. I blushed and looked down at my feet. Mike laughed and we went into the living room with Vic to hang out while we waited for supper.

We had burritos. Of course. Not that I minded since they were my favourite food. I learned that the Fuentes family is a very kind and accepting family. Just like mine. Eventually, when we finished, me, Vic, and Mike went into the basement. "This is basically where me and Vic hang out all the time." Mike explained. I could tell. There were a few guitars and a drum set as well as a TV and a bunch of comic books everywhere. We decided on watching movies all night. Halfway through the third movie Vic was practically asleep so he went to bed.

2 movies later Mike began kissing my neck out of boredom. "I take it you aren't a Star Wars fan?" I laughed.
"Not really, but you are so I'm chill." He mumbled against my skin.
"Wanna make out instead?" I asked. He looked at me and grinned. "Thought you'd never ask." He mumbled, pushing me over and crawling on top of me so we were laying on the couch instead of sitting. He gazed at me for a few seconds before kissing me. I grabbed shirt and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss. He propped himself up with his elbows on either side of my head and ran his tongue along my lower lip, sending butterflies through my stomach. I must shivered and let out a whimper, opening my mouth to let Mike in.

About 10 minutes later we stopped making out and just cuddled for a long time before I could barely keep my eyes open. Mike kissed me tenderly. "Want me to carry you upstairs?" He asked. I nodded tiredly and he brought me up to his room were we fell asleep without bothering to change.
