I ran the back of my hand across my dry lips, feeling the cracked skin as Mike's ceremony continued. I had silent tears begging to escape my eyes and shallow breathing. I couldn't believe he was gone. The ceremony dragged on forever, just reminding me this wasn't some sick and twisted nightmare I was caught in. I longed to wake up wrapped up in bed with Mike like we were in a shitty middle school story. But I didn't and I knew I wouldn't. As Mike's coffin was finally lowered into the ground I quickly whipped placed the pamphlets for the two plays we did together on his lifeless chest. Mrs. and Mr. Fuentes smiled sadly at me before turning and walking quietly to their car. I turned back to the slowly dissipating crowd and caught sight of a petite blond girl, wearing a black dress and a vintage veil over her delicately shaped face. "Are you Alysha?" I asked in a shy voice, remembering Mike telling me a little bit about her, as I approached her. "Yeah." She replied with a small smile, "Tony?" I nodded.

"I guess Mike never got the chance to introduce us. We dated for a little while before he realized he liked men." She said softly.

"Yeah, he told me." I said sadly.

"Well it was very nice to meet you, do you want to meet up with me and Jaime soon? I think we all just need some time together to remember Mike." She asked, glancing at Jaime who was stood next to me.

"I'd like that." I whispered, my voice breaking and my tears finally spilling down my cheeks. Alysha offered me a tissue which I gladly accepted.

"Alysha..." Jaime warned suddenly in a low voice, staring over her shoulder at someone who was walking quickly through the graves. She turned and her eyes went wide and stood in between me and Jaime.

"Who is that?" I asked, squinting to get a better look at the hooded person.

"Justin." Jaime said bitterly, "Not only did he get Mike fucked up but..." Jaime looked at Alysha as if they were silently debating. She quickly nodded before Jaime turned back to me. "But, he also raped 'Lysha." Jaime said darkly. Before I could reply Justin stopped in front of us, looking up at me and Jaime for a few seconds before his eyes fell on Alysha.

"Get out of here Justin. You're not supposed be in California, remember your fucking restraining order?" Jaime snarled, looking at Justin with distaste.

"Just let me explain, Mike was my friend too!" He pleaded, and I almost felt sorry for him but I remembered what he had done to Alysha. That's when me and Jaime lost it, we both lunged at him tackling him to the ground, both of us literally blinded by rage. I managed to get a few punches in before Alysha's small hands grabbed mine and Jaime's shoulders, pulling us off of Justin with surprising force. By then Justin was bruised and bloody. "Get out of here." Jaime spat.

I shoved my bruised hands in my pocket before following Jaime and Alysha to Jaime's shitty car.

The front seat was full of stuff so me and 'Lysha sat in the back seat. She was shaking and her eyes were quite wide. I sat closer and wrapped my arm around her shoulder, pulling her against me to calm her down. "If he gets near you again, we're going to beat him up for real this time." I said in a low voice. Alysha looked up at me with a half-hearted smile as Jaime turned the car on and pulled away from the cemetery. "My house?" He asked in a flat voice, looking at us through the rear-view mirror. "Sure." I said and Alysha nodded. Jaime didn't say anything he just began driving to his house. Alysha's breathing evened out and she slowly relaxed against me.

"We're here." Jaime said, around 10 minutes later. I had been to his house a few times before so I knew his parents and the general layout of the house. It was in a rich neighborhood, across town from mine and Mikes. His house was large for a 4 person family because they were quite rich but it was fine because we basically had the entire 3rd floor to ourselves.
