Adara Wilkins
2 days later
I held out the pasta that's on a fork I made for Amelia. Amelia took the bite and hummed before her eyes widen.
"Very good Dara, more!" She loudly said making me laugh out to get her another bite. I fed her another bite just as light footsteps approached the kitchen.
I looked up to see Antonio eying my body down. He has no care that he's looking me up and down.
"Papa!" Sunshine happily said as I placed away the dirty fork in the sink. "Hi sunshine." He deeply said.
"Come try Dara's pasta!" Amelia demanded for Antonio to try. I heard his footsteps approach me making me slightly tense up.
He placed his hand on my back, "was she good today?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Like always." I softly said as I crained my neck up so I could look at him.
I quickly looked away from his green eyes and took the pasta on the fork for him to take. I placed my free hand under the fork as he took the pasta off the fork.
He chewed as Amelia smiled for his reaction. "You've made this?" He asked and I nodded and went to give him another bite.
"It's good." He replied making me smile and try the pasta myself with a different fork. I hummed and nodded.
His hand slowly grazed my lower back as he slid behind me to go past making me place my hands on the stove top.
He knows what he's doing.

As I was about to walk out Antonio stopped me. "What did I tell you about wearing those dresses?" He asked sternly making me scrunch my face.
"I can wear whatever I want. It's not my fault you can't handle this." I spat back and he chuckled before stepping closer to me.
"I can handle and control what you have. I can show you better then I can tell you mama." He whispered in my ear making a waterfall erupt.
I scoffed, "I'm perfectly fine." I spat making him chuckle. "Seems like your the one who can't handle what's infront of you." He deeply said making me arch my eyebrow.
"I can handle you if I wanted too." I spat and he deeply laughed out. "Look at me and tell me." He replied making me gulp as I avoided his burning eye contact.
"I said look at me and tell me." He whispered as he hook his finger under my chin, forcing me to look up into his green eyes.
I never noticed the light freckles that went along his face until now. And I didn't miss that his left eye had a dark tint of green then his right eye.
"Seems like your lost in checking me out." He stated before removing his hand becoming cold again.
"Yes I'm checking you out because I can. It's not illegal-"
"I never said it was adara." He cut me off quickly letting my name roll of his tongue so elegantly with his accent.
I huffed out in defeat until Amelia came running over. She pushed through Antonio's leg and jumped so I could pick her up.
