Standing in front of the deep, seemingly endless forest Malik slowly observed it while tightening his grip on his backpack.
That was the only thing he had with himself after leaving Mystic Falls.
He simply couldn't bare to be there anymore. After he woke up he destroyed all evidences of his spell, the only recording of it was in his grimoire which he hid using his magic.
His destination was clear, there was only one person left who he wanted to be with, the one who could possibly help him.
Walking into the forest he used his magic to hide his presence but also made him aware of his surroundings. Slowly passing the trees he gently ran his hand across it trying to find his way. He was ready to give up when he felt a gaze upon him.
Sensing the intense look a small smile played on his lips and began to advance further but altered his direction based on the intensity of the attention. He sensed the person would be more nervous if he went towards the right way.
It proved to be correct when he began to sense multiple people approaching him quickly.
A small smirk appeared on his face readied himself for the impact and soon enough people jumped out from behind trees and bushes to take him down. The warlock simply lifted his right hand and all of them stopped mid-air, unable to move.
"Gentlemen" greeted Malik but he sounded amused. "What a warm welcome! Now before I do something that would not get me good points with your pack leader, may I recommend that one of you quickly informs Eric that I'm here?"
Looking around none of them seemed to volunteer which just made Malik shake his head playfully and picking a random person dropped them on the ground.
"You, go ahead and get him here."
"You can't force me warlock!"
"Can't I?" asked the boy and raised his other hand slowly while a smirk played on his lips.
The wolf noticed how his fingers were all muso black, even the air changed around the warlock which terrified him. His wolf instincts began screaming and his determination broke in a split second.
The wolf immediately turned around and ran, Malik simply chuckled and looking at the other wolfs in the air spoke up.
"Don't you worry, none of you will die. But I can't exactly let you attack me again, can I?"
He suddenly felt a presence he hasn't felt in a long time. Turning his attention to the incomer he suddenly felt a hand on his throat and saw a pair of hybrid eyes in front of him that he hasn't seen in quite a while.
"Hello Eric" greeted Malik with a smile, surprising the other boy.
"Mal..." whispered Eric and suddenly let go of the warlock's neck and his eyes returned to normal. "I'm so sorry... What are you doing here?"
