Klaus was pacing in the back kitchen of Rousseau's, which was empty of employees. After what happened to Hayley, he was furious. When Sophie finally came into the room with a basket of produce, Klaus grabbed her and vamp-sped them back to the plantation house for a meeting.

He brought her to the living room, where Rebekah and Malik were waiting for them, and the hybrid deposited Sophie onto the couch.

"We had a deal! You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's army. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches."

"I had nothing to do with it, I swear. Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die" defended Sophie frantically.

"Then who were they?" questioned Rebekah confused.

"They are a faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby. "

"What kind of vision?" asked Klaus suspiciously.

"She has them all the time. They are totally open to interpretation. I'm guessing she's wrong on this one. "

"Considering how the witches reacted I'm sure it would be wise to let us know how this particular vision was interpreted?"

"Pretty much that the baby would bring death to all witches."

"Ah, well. I grow fonder of this child by the second" commented Klaus earning a slap on the arm from Malik.

"That's interesting" pondered Malik taking his eyes off the hybrid. "Because I myself had a vision of the baby, before it was conceived."

"You did?" asked Sophie surprised and even Rebekah looked at the boy surprised.

"Yes. She will only bring death to those who harm her and her loved ones. You know—" Malik's demeanour changed, his eyes glew red and the clouds began to darken the sky, alarming Sophie however the two originals were rather entertained. "— like how I'm going to kill every single one of you if any harm comes to Hayley or that baby."

His eyes returned back to normal and the moment he leaned back on the chair the sky cleared up, and Sophie relaxed a bit.

"Sophie, look— I promised Elijah that I would protect the Mikaelson miracle-baby whilst he tries to win your witch Davina's loyalty. Why don't you tell me just how extreme this faction is?"

"Elijah's talking to Davina?" Sophie looked at her shocked.

"Yeah. As we speak, I imagine"

"I'm guessing she'll have plenty to say about that crowd."

"Do tell" Klaus was clearly intrigued and sitting down next to Malik looked at Sophie.

"I... wasn't always an advocate for the witches. "
