when I opened my eyes, I see that Jack is no longer with me

the curtains are drawn, so I can't see how much light is outside

I reach towards the bedside table so I can take my phone

so it's 12 and I don't know what Andre wants from me

I went on Instagram to see what he wanted

he told me that he and Clara have already planned for all 3 of us to meet at Clara's house and at 2:25 p.m. to go out in front of the house to pick me up

I talked to him and told him not to be late

after that I dressed in some black tights, a wide white Nike t-shirt and went downstairs to the kitchen

when I went downstairs I saw dad and Jack in the living room on the sofa playing with some cars

I went to them and sat on the couch

"good morning" said my father

"morning" I said smiling slowly

"What happened to you last night? I heard you walking around the house" I asked

"nothing important, another nightmare" I said taking one of Jack's cars in my hand

dad looked at me seriously and asked "Lance?"

I closed my eyes and nodded my head

"it would be good for you to leave the house today, maybe with Clara and Andre" said my father

"don't you want me to help you and Jack with that project for school?" I asked

"by the way, why isn't he at school?" I asked curiously again

"I kept him at home today to stay with me and no, we don't need help with the project" He said

Jack started going to school this year, it's his first year and he's doing great
