I closed my eyes wanting to see what he was going to do to me

or a slap, or a punch or even worse

I opened my eyes when I no longer felt him next to me and when I heard noise

now Lance was on the ground and Lewis on top of him

Pierre came to me and hugged me

"It's done Maya, we are here" he told me in a whisper to calm me down

Lewis punches Lance without stopping, talks to him, but I can't hear what

during this Pierre tries to take me to the bar

"no, please not there with the other drivers" I said worriedly

I wouldn't want them to see me in this state

he nodded affirmatively to let me know that he understood what I said

we were heading towards Pierre's car

I try to look for Lance and Lewis, but now they are not where I left them

he opened the back door and I sat down inside to calm down

"do you want me to call Charles?" Pierre asked me

"no, not now" I told him

"Maya you know you can tell me anything"

"how long have you been standing by the exit?" I asked him

"enough for us to hear.." he said

"so there is nothing left to say" I said and looked into his eyes

I could see fear and angry in him

I'm curious what Lewis is doing

"Pierre, will you bring me some more water?" I asked him

"Yes now"

he said and ran towards the bar

I didn't need water

but if I told him to let me go to Lewis, he wouldn't do it

so I got out of the car and went behind the bar

Lance had fallen to the ground and Lewis in front of him

Lewis' hands were covered in blood and so was Lance's face

"Lewis!" I screamed

they both looked at me

"what the hell are you doing here?" Lewis asked angry

"we're leaving, NOW" I said

when I looked back I saw Pierre running towards me

"I knew I shouldn't have left you alone... I took Mick and we were waiting for you at the car" said Pierre

"yes, exactly, go" said Lance, wiping blood

Lewis growled at him again, but he didn't get to do anything, I punched Lance and left

Lewis and Mick left on their motorbikes and I left with Pierre

Pierre took me to my hotel room

I thanked him for everything and entered the room

I almost had a heart attack when I saw a black figure in the room

I approached slowly

"Charles?" I asked

he suddenly returned to me

"Maya"

it's Charles

He hugged me tightly and said in a whisper "God, I'm so glad you're okay"

I told him everything that happened and spent the night with him

the next morning the whole internet was full of pictures proving that Lewis and Pierre had beaten Lance

including paparazzi and pictures of Lance beaten

in most of the articles I also appeared in the pictures

everything led to my relationship with Lance from the past

that's how I realized that I absolutely have to talk to my mother and father

so I left the warm bed where Charles was and went to my father's hotel room

"That infected and wretched rat, he's just like his father" my father shouted after I told him 

"before sunset we are going back to Monaco" he said

"go and pack your bags, my love, tomorrow we start the court proceedings" said mom on the phone call

I went and told Charles what I talked to my parents about and that I had to leave

from what he said, he will be going back to Monaco soon, so we will still have time to see each other

I packed my bags and spent the last time with Charles

after that, I picked up Mick and Charles drove us to the airport

Mick and Lewis will come with us to Monaco to discuss on the plane what happened last night and to help him with the documents

"we can't destroy Maya's image like that, and neither ours" said Lewis

"I have everything set up, no one will go to the judge, we do everything strictly and privately" said father

"without roads and everything is done in my office at the Mercedes building" he said again

Mick got up from the big sofa in front of my father and came to the part of the restaurant where I was sitting

"Are you ok?" he asked me

I nodded yes

"I know a lot is happening now, but everything will be fine," he told me

I hugged him and thanked him for being with me

when I got home it was already late, so I went to my room and fell asleep instantly

the next day I had nothing else to do except go to Andre and Clara and tell them everything I couldn't say in the last days
