I entered the house and when I went to the living room I saw someone

My mom was in the living room talking to Lance's father, and next to him was LANCE

I stopped in the doorway and made eye contact with Lance

I feel a huge emptiness in my stomach

I quickly ran upstairs to my room

I closed the door behind me and sat on the bed

why did dad let him in here?
