The day had finally arrived. Ryan was going to be asked about everything. The fear and anxiety that had consumed me for so long were finally coming to an end.
As I sat in the courtroom, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. This was it. The moment of truth.
Ryan was brought in, and as he took his seat, I looked at him with a mix of fear and anger. He had caused me so much pain and suffering, and I wanted him to pay for what he had done.
The questions started, and Ryan began to confess. He admitted to trying to ruin me, to trying to kill me, and to kidnapping Lorenzo and me.
My heart was pounding in my chest as I listened to his words. The fear and pain that I had carried with me for so long were finally being acknowledged, and I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
But then, Ryan's lawyer spoke up. There was no proof. Without evidence, they couldn't charge him with anything.
I felt like the ground had been ripped out from under me. How could this be happening? How could Ryan get away with everything he had done?
But then, something inside me clicked. I remembered the evidence that I had gathered. The photos, the recordings, the texts. They were all there, hidden away in a box under my bed.
I knew what I had to do. I stood up and walked towards the judge.
"Your honor, I have evidence," I said, my voice shaking. "Evidence that proves that Ryan is guilty of everything he has confessed to."
The judge looked at me, surprise written on his face.
"Please present the evidence," he said.
I walked back to my seat and took out the box . I opened it up and handed the evidence to the judge.
As he looked through the photos and recordings, I could feel the tension in the courtroom. This was it. The moment of truth.
Finally, the judge spoke.
"Ryan, you are guilty of all charges," he said. "You will be arrested and face the consequences of your actions."
I felt a sense of relief wash over me. It was finally over. Ryan was going to pay for what he had done, and I could finally move on with my life.
As I walked out of the courtroom, hand in hand with Lorenzo, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. The fear and pain of the past were finally behind me, and I could look towards the future with hope and determination.
Whatever challenges came our way, we would face them together, with love and strength. And as we walked towards the horizon, hand in hand, I knew that the future was filled with endless possibilities.
