It happened so suddenly. The storms raging, the waves crashing, and the sailors mistaking you for the cause of it all.

You gasped out from the pain, your tentacles wrapping around the ship who's hull was stabbed right into your chest. Your mind was foggy in a panic. All you could think about was the pain, and of your beloved.

You wondered if you would ever see her again. Maybe it was too late for you to say goodbye to her, but you reminded yourself that she knew you loved her. At least it helped ease the pain of you not being able to say goodbye to her one last time.

You could faintly hear her voice as you faded in and out of consciousness. Her arms wrapped around you, pulling out the ship's hull from you chest and trying to get all the wood out of the wound. You blacked out as you felt her soft touch right on the wound on your chest.

...

You felt exhausted as your eyes flickered open, your chest feeling sore as you shifted around. You wondered if you were in the afterlife, having succumbed to your wounds or having lost too much blood.

"My dear... you're ok." The voice of your beloved said softly into your ear. You turned your head only to be met with the soft gaze of Black Pearl Cookie, her arms wrapped softly around your waist.

"Pearl..." You whispered softly. "You saved me..?"

"I did." Black Pearl rested a hand on your chest. "You didn't think I forgot the healing magic you taught me, did you?"

"No, and I'm glad you didn't. I thought I would die before saying goodbye to you."

"My dear, I would never let that happen to you. I love you too much to allow that."

"Thank you Pearl... I love you."

"I love you too..."
