THIRD PERSON

Breakfast was a rather raucous affair at the Gryffindor table on the morning of the third task. The post owls made an appearance, delivering Harry a good-luck card from Sirius. It was merely a piece of parchment, folded over with a muddy paw print adorning its front, yet Harry appreciated it nonetheless. Hermione received a screech owl, which brought her usual morning copy of the Daily Prophet. She unfolded the paper, briefly glanced at the front page, and spat out a mouthful of pumpkin juice all over it. (Y/n) observed it and discreetly cast a glance at Harry before returning her attention to the Daily Prophet.

"What?" Harry and Ron exclaimed simultaneously, staring at her.

"Nothing," Hermione quickly replied, attempting to conceal the paper, but Ron seized it.

He gazed at the headline and exclaimed, "No way. Not today. That old cow."

"What?" said Harry. "Rita Skeeter again?"

"No," Ron responded, trying to hide the paper just like Hermione.

"It's about me, innit?" Harry questioned.

"No," Ron answered, his tone far from convincing.

"Come on, Harry, just continue eating," (Y/n) said.

But before Harry could insist on seeing the paper, Draco Malfoy called out across the Great Hall from the Slytherin table.

"Hey, Potter! Potter! How's your head? You feeling all right? Sure you're not going to lose control on us?"

Malfoy had a copy of the Daily Prophet as well. Slytherins throughout the table were sniggering, twisting in their seats to witness Harry's reaction.

"Let me see it," Harry said to Ron. "Pass it over."Reluctantly, Ron handed over the newspaper. Harry flipped it over and found himself confronted by his own picture, beneath a prominent headline:

HARRY POTTER 'DISTURBED AND DANGEROUS'
