"She vowed to stay, in the twilight's embrace,
But her heart harbored secrets, a hidden trace.
In the tapestry of their love, a subtle fray,
As she crafted a lie, to stave off the day."

- THIRD PERSON -

The atmosphere within the house remained heavy with the shock of Mad-Eye's loss in the days that ensued. Harry half-expected Mad-Eye to stride in through the back door like the other members of the Order, who came and went to share updates.

Harry believed that only taking action could alleviate his overwhelming feelings of guilt and sorrow. He felt compelled to embark on his mission to locate and eliminate Horcruxes as soon as possible.

"Well, there's nothing you can do about the" — Ron gestured to the word Horcruxes — "until you turn seventeen. The Trace is still on you. And we can plan just as well here as anywhere, can't we? Or," he lowered his voice to a whisper, "do you think you already know where the You-Know-Whats are?"

"No," Harry confessed.

"I reckon Hermione's been doing some research with a bit of help from Sabrina," Ron mentioned. "Hermione said she was saving it for when you arrived."

Seated at the breakfast table, Mr. Weasley and Bill had just departed for work. Mrs. Weasley had gone upstairs to wake Sabrina, Hermione, and Ginny, while Fleur had retired for a bath.

"The Trace will break on the thirty-first," Harry stated. "That means I only need to stay here for four days. Then I can —"

"Five days," Ron corrected him firmly. "We've got to stay for the wedding. They'll kill us if we miss it."

Harry inferred that "they" referred to Fleur and Mrs. Weasley.

"It's just one extra day," Ron insisted when Harry looked displeased.

"Don't they realize how important — ?"

" 'Course they don't," said Ron. "They haven't got a clue. And now you mention it, I wanted to talk to you about that."

Ron glanced toward the door into the hall to make sure Mrs. Weasley wasn't returning yet, then leaned in closer to Harry.

"Mum's been trying to get it out of Sabrina, Hermione, and me. What we're off to do. She'll try you next, so brace yourself. Dad and Lupin've both asked as well, but when we said Dumbledore told you not to tell anyone except us, they dropped it. Not Mum, though. She's determined."

Harry understood.

"Are you truly fine with Sabrina coming?" Harry asked Ron, sensing that Ron shared the same concern for his sister as Harry did.
