"He's not gone!" Harry's cry echoed through the air.

In steadfast disbelief, he resisted Lupin's grasp with every ounce of strength, unaware that behind the curtain, Sirius lingered, concealed from their view. Desperation in his voice, Harry bellowed, "SIRIUS! SIRIUS!"

Lupin, struggling to contain Harry, uttered with a breaking voice, "He can't return, Harry, because he's d––"

"HE – IS – NOT – DEAD!" Harry roared, his anguish palpable.

(Y/n)'s heart shattered as she watched, feeling a sudden chill. All fatigue and aches vanished, leaving her cold and numb. She longed to rush to Harry, to embrace him.

"SIRIUS!" Harry's plea echoed again, drowning in the chaotic surroundings.

Around them, futile commotion and spell flashes filled the air. To Harry, it was meaningless noise; only Lupin's acknowledgment of Sirius's absence mattered. Lupin pulled Harry away from the dais, who, fixated on the archway, grew angry at Sirius for delaying.

In her spot, (Y/n) remained frozen, drained of strength. Sirius had been a parental figure to Harry, and the realization that he might truly be gone intensified (Y/n)'s heartache.

Dumbledore controlled the Death Eaters; Moody tended to Tonks. Kingsley continued Sirius's duel with Bellatrix. Neville, having approached Harry, apologized with unsteady legs.

"Was Sirius Black a friend of yours?" Neville asked, and Harry nodded.

Lupin, pale-faced, lifted Neville's leg-binding spell and, searching for others, called for Sabrina. Inquiring about their whereabouts, each word seemed to inflict pain on Lupin. "Dey're all back dere," Neville replied, concern evident, "A brain attacked Ron, but I dink he's all righd – and Herbione's unconscious, bud we could feel a bulse –"

A thunderous crash reverberated as a cry echoed from behind the dais. Kingsley collapsed, writhing in pain; Bellatrix Lestrange fled, evading Dumbledore's spell. With a swift turn, Dumbledore aimed again, but Bellatrix deftly deflected it, ascending the steps.

"Harry – no!" Lupin's desperate plea fell on deaf ears as Harry wrenched free from his grip.

"SHE KILLED SIRIUS!" Harry's voice thundered. "SHE KILLED HIM – I'LL KILL HER!"

Off he went, scaling stone benches, disregarding the chaos. Sabrina's voice was drowned in the clamor, but Harry pressed on. Bellatrix's robes vanished from view, leading them back to the room with swimming brains. She cast a curse over her shoulder, causing the tank to tip, dousing Harry in a vile potion. Undeterred, he cast "Wingardium Leviosa," freeing himself from the tentacled onslaught.
