The fight was brutal, repeated crunch and popping of flesh that bounded into bone clapped nauseatingly loud in your ears while you watched the fight ensue for an uncomfortable length of time. Both Taehyung and the maddened coyote hybrid were bloodied, covered in gashes and bites as they tore into each other without faltering. A bloodstained fist swung at Tae-vaguely staggering as his stamina began to wear down from keeping up with Taehyung's reflexes-allowing the tiger to duck in just enough time to let split knuckles graze the cartilage of his left hybrid ear instead of Tae's face. A guttural snarl filled the sweat and iron thick air in a fine mist of steaming breath and saliva, locking your lungs as you watched Tae shake his head before an ease of relief washed down your spine the moment he pounced at the coyote, digging his extended canines into his jugular while claws embedded into his shoulders and rib cage.

They both fell to the floor from the impact, struggling to get the upper hand.

Just when you thought Taehyung was coming out on top, the coyote jerked him to the side by the base of his tail, the tiger loudly crying out in a broken voice as he was thrown to the sticky concrete floor seconds before his body was covered from view by a massive wall of perspiring muscle.

Jungkook was paralyzed with fear, whimpering and quivering at your side while you silently sobbed, unable to blink. The coyote had begun to wail on your tiger with all the wild, rabid aggression of a beast trained to kill. It filled your ears with horrific sounds you could never find the words to describe. And all Tae could do was lie there crumpled on the dirty floor, forced to suffer each hit, flinching and coiling into his own battered body.

"I can't- I can't watch this anymore," you choked, hand pressed to your mouth as if to stop your terror from overflowing while Jungkook shrunk further against your side. You could tell he was trying to be strong; to protect you from the horror show, but couldn't bring himself to.

The coyote tried to go in for the kill, but Taehyung kept fighting, his claws coming into view just before he swiped at the larger male with a crushing impact, slicing his human ear into pieces while the guy was knocked completely sideways. Giving the tiger another opportunity to weakly roll to his buckling knees. Tae spat out a mouthful of blood, the puddle splattering through the fence and into the uproaring crowd; creating a deafening cry of cheers.

Your tiger was on his feet before the other male could collect himself.

The coyote stumbled, but ungainly managed to stand as well, ready to charge the second Taehyung lost his guard. The audience roared and jeered, their cries turning angry before you saw it; Namjoon was on the other end of the arena, climbing over the fence, his coat discarded at the edge. When had he left your side?! You were so caught up in the fight, you hadn't noticed him leave.

You turned around, finding that Hoseok, Jin, and Yoongi had also left you and Jungkook, the group running back through the crowd to rejoin you. You frowned and looked back to the arena where Namjoon had dropped from the top, landing into a crouch with a hard thud, arms extended defensively as he skirted the edges to Tae.

You turned back to your hybrids, who nervously chewed their lips, guilt pinching their features. "What the hell did you guys do?!" You snapped only to be silenced by another ear piercing ring from the microphone.

"Looks like there's a change of plan, folks! Tiger's being tapped out." The crowd booed before padded guards carefully entered the arena. Taehyung was confused, but couldn't put up much of a fight, all but collapsing just as they reached him.

Once he was dragged out of the arena, you turned an accusing glare back to your group. "Does anyone want to explain?"

"We went to find the owner," Yoongi scratched at his freshly pierced ear, the appendage red from cold and his anxious picking. "Namjoon made a deal with him."
