Winslow
I was going to read a bit about their project but I'm exhausted tonight. Dad isn't getting any information for today. We talked a bit when I got in my room and he told me it's okay to rest. I didn't tell him about my problem with Everett disliking me because he had told me to be patient.
Well, it's not my fault Everett literally hates me just because he didn't want anyone to help him. Our communities are enemies so I guess we're just keeping the tradition.
The bed is comfy as hell. Even better than my own. I put on my PJs and lay on the bed, immediately falling asleep.

"Miss, are you awake?" A man's voice outside the room wakes me up and I groan."Well, now that you woke me, yes I suppose I am." I place a pillow on my head but quickly realise Everett would never call me miss. Shit, who did I just talk to like that?
I hear laughter from outside and I take a peak from the corner of the pillow. Whoever it is he's outside.
Laughing is a good sign right? I hope it isn't Maverick. I purse my lips, put on my slippers and head to the door.
When I open it a man I recognise as the one that walked me to the front door yesterday, is standing in front of me.
"Good morning miss, breakfast is ready." He gives me a smile and I only now notice he's really good looking.
A slim man with dirty blonde hair falling just above his ears, downturned brown eyes, a big nose and a beautiful smile.
"Oh hey, sorry for before I thought you were someone els-"
"Everett, I know." He smiles again, "They're waiting for you downstairs."
"It's eight in the morning, what time do they wake up?" I groan more to myself,
"Pretty early." He chuckles and leaves to let me change.
When I get downstairs, the man who's name I don't remember is sitting with us too.
"Good morning." I tell everyone. They all smile at me, except Everett who glares at me.
"Bad morning to you." I whisper so only he can hear and I grab a croissant from the plate near him.
"How'd you sleep honey?" Maverick asks me and I smile at him,
"Very nice, thank you. The bed is very comfortable."
"Glad to hear that. Have you met Cassius?" He gestures to the man.
Ohh yeah Cassius, that's his name
"Yes kind of." I smile at Cassius and he smiles back.
We talk a bit during breakfast but Everett is of course not talking to anyone and giving me hatred glares.
After breakfast, I head to the office hoping to have some time for myself before he comes in, so I can catch up on their plans and orgainse my computer files so dad can hack into them.
But when I open the door he's already in, walking around his desk, talking to the phone and being angry at whoever is on the other line. Is this man ever calm?
I roll my eyes and sit down. Guess no alone time for me today.
"No mom why?" He yells at the phone. I think he didn't notice when I came in.
"Everything is under control!"
"We're getting there."
"For how long?"
"A month? It's been almost three!"
"Screw the bussines mom, goodbye." He throws the phone on the desk and runs both hands in his hair.
