Winslow

"Love?" A voice is heard.

"Winslow love?" Again, I hear the voice.

"WINSLOW!" It wakes me up.

I rub my eyes and turn to the sound of the voice, "Hmm?"

"Good morning baby." First thing I see is dimples. "How did you sleep?"

"Good until you woke me. Did you have to?" I groan and fall back on the bed.

He chuckles and stands up, picks something up from the nightstand and walks back to me, "Here's breakfast. Eat and come downstairs. Someone's waiting for you." He kisses my forehead and walks to the bathroom.

The hell? Who's waiting for me?

I look at the tray in my lap, my mouth watering at the pancakes dripping honey. I pick my mug to drink some coffee when he comes out of the bathroom, shirtless, wet haired and absolutely delicious. "When did you wake up?" I ask him, taking a bite.

"Not long after you. I heard voices and went down to check." He wipes his wet hair on a towel.

"And?" I raise an eyebrow.

"And what?"

"Who is it? Who's waiting for me?"

"Eat your breakfast Winnie. You'll find out soon."

"Did you have breakfast?" I wonder why he's avoiding to tell me. Is it because it's a surprise or because I won't like it?

"Mhm."

My eyebrows lower in confusion and I continue eating. "Come sit here with me."

He smiles and comes to sit down next to me, kissing my cheek. I chuckle and move away from him, trying to eat in peace. He squeezes me in his arms and leaves kisses all over my face.

"Everettt I'm trying to eat!" I laugh in between kisses. He moves the tray of food away and grips my waist, pulling me on top of him, still kissing me all over my face. My mouth, my eyes, my cheeks, my nose, my forehead, "Who cares about food when I have you." He crushes his lips on mine, in a sweet, gentle kiss and makes me smile into it.

"Everett," I whimper when he moves down my throat, "We can't -" he bites into it and I moan. God, this man. I grab his face and pull him away from me, "We had like three rounds last night." I chuckle, "Plus, someone's waiting for me as you said. Keep it in your pants until I come back." I kiss his nose and get up, wear my slippers and head to the bathroom.

This whole thing with him seems too good to be true, it almost scares me.

Almost.

Because we've went through hell to make it here. And I'm going to enjoy every moment with him and everyone else to the very last second.

I finish my morning routine and open the door to get dressed. The whole time I'm putting on clothes, Everett lays on the bed, staring at me with a grin.

I rush down the elevator, curious who's waiting for me and I  walk to the living room.

Only for my heart to stop and my feet to give up on me.

My father is staring back at me.

My hands start to tremble.

My heart speed increases.

I turn around to leave but bump into Everett's broad shoulders. "I know it's hard, baby. But please, please try to do this." He cups my face.

"You knew this and you said nothing?" I stare at him.
