Winslow

The next day I finally manage to get what points I should include in the speech. After a million glares and insults he lets me help him write the speech he's going to read aloud in front of the whole crowd.

I'm on the last paragraph, trying to thank the people who attended, "So, are you taking part in this event?" I decide to ask him.

"None of your business."

"I'll see you on stage anyway, so you might as well not deny it." I type the last word and lean back on my chair, looking at him.

"You won't see me on stage, I'm not taking part."

But Seo-Yeon said he was practicing for it when I asked her about his last assistant, so I decide to tease him a bit, "Come on I've seen you before why don't you take part anymore?" I say, hoping he actually took part because I don't want to seem like a fool and let my true identity be revealed.

"I don't like it anymore. I just watch." He never looks away from his computer and seems really uncomfortable so I drop the subject. You never know someone's story.

Even if you hate the person.

"I'm done with the speech, should I print it?" I ask him.

"No I have to read it first."

"Why, do you not trust me?" I pout but he rolls his eyes.

"Of course not." He stands up, walks to my desk, gets behind me and starts reading the speech while leaning his arms in front of me on the desk.

"You could've just told me to send it to you, you know." I spin around in my chair, waiting for him to finish.

He completely ignores me and continues reading it, "You didn't include about the decoration."

"What decoration?" I pause the spinning.

"The rainbows and unicorns at the garden, what decoration the fires." Did he just try to joke? Or was he just being sarcastic as always?

"You're too sarcastic." I roll my eyes and start typing but he doesn't move.

"You know, sarcasm is the body's natural reaction to stupidity."

I turn up at him and narrow my eyes, "Did you just call me stupid?" I point a finger at him,

"Maybe." His face relaxes a bit and the corner of his mouth twitches. Oh my god was he going to smile?

"I'm not stupid, I'm pretty sure I'm smarter than you, Evy." I try to piss him off because I know he doesn't like that but his cheek raises a bit and half his mouth actually moves upward. Oh my god, he is smiling.

Oh wow he has dimples. They're so cute, even on a person like him. "You have dimples." I smile.

"So do you, Winnie."

I'm not feeling well. Not in a bad way. But that's weird. Because why the heck did I get butterflies?

Why is he being sweet? And what the hell is Winnie? Why is it cute? Why do I like it coming off him? Why the heck did I get butterflies?

Oh god oh god oh god no no no no.

No, it's probably just the stress of the mission.

"Winnie, really?" I play it off, at least I try.

"You decide to call me weird nicknames, I join you." He clicks the print button and turns to me for a second, opens his mouth but closes it again. His eyes darken and his constant cold energy comes back. He clears his throat and walks back to his desk. He never talks to me again.
