Winslow
"No yellow is not your colour girl, why don't you try the purple one?" I pass Seo-Yeon the purple skirt.
"Ugh, this is so exhausting." She grabs it and goes into the changing room. When she comes back she looks absolutely stunning.
"Told ya, purple is so your colour." I sigh, sitting on the booth outside of the changing rooms.
"You're not buying anything?" She asks me while choosing what colour top to match with her skirt. She's holding a white one and a black one.
"White," I take the top from its hanger and adjust in on her, "Definitely white." I step out of the dressing room and wait for her. "I don't know, If I like anything I'll get it." I smile once she comes out. The fit is freaking perfect on her. It suits her so much. "That's it you're buying this. Get inside, take it off and come pay."
We've been walking for a while now, and we just got coffee from Starbucks. "So did Cassius find you at last week's event?" I bring up.
She nearly chokes on her drink and calms down after asking me, "So it was you that told him."
"I guess that turned out good, considering the hickey you had the day after." I wink at her and now she definitely chokes. She looks up at me with concern and swallows,
"You have to be kidding me. Please say you're kidding."
"Nope, but don't worry only me and Everett saw it."
I'm trying to get as much information as I can from Maverick's last file update because there's a change of plans, as he says. I have to update dad and tell him to take a careful look at all the files.
The door knocks and Seo-Yeon's voice comes through the door, "Mr. Levan, your father wants me to give you some papers for licences."
"Come in." He says not looking up from his map.
She walks in with some papers and puts them on his desk. I turn to her but only her back is visible from here. I can only see Everett's face behind her back, and I notice him glancing at her neck, smirking and locking his gaze with mine. He motions to her neck with his eyes and when she turns around to smile at me, I spot a hickey on the spot he was previously looking at.
I bite back a laugh and smile at her too, "Your collar is a bit loosen." I tell her and she fixes it on her way out.
"I don't get why they avoid eachother when they're clearly-"
"Fucking eachother." He finishes for me.
"Shush, she might still be here."
"She left a minute ago." He takes the papers and starts reading them. After some time, I hear him ask, "Have you ever gotten one?"
What the hell?
"No, wanna give me one?" I play along and I hear him laugh before getting up and leaving the room.
"Earth to Winslow." Seo-Yeon's voice interrupts me and I blink,
"Yeah?"
"What the heck are you thinking about? You just blushed." She laughs at me and I widen my eyes,
"Please." I scoff.
Oh uh.

"Dark red or black?" I ask her, holding a dress. I saw it at the mannequin from the window and fell in love with it.
"Definitely dark red, you'll break hearts with that." She grins and puts the black one back.
I try it on in the changing rooms and look myself in the mirror.
Damn.
I look hot. This is perfect.
It's a knee-length, v-line dress, with silk fabric. My breasts look so full in this and my waist so slim. Wow. I step out and take a turn. Seo-Yeon's mouth parts and her jaw nearly falls to the floor. "Everett's a lucky man."
"What?" I blink,
She grins at me and sips her drink, "Tell me you're getting that."
"Of course."
After we ate dinner at the mall, we headed home. We parted ways since she had a day off today so I went back by bus.
When I get home, I walk to the elevator and press the button. It dings and the doors open, revealing Everett in a plain white t-shirt and green cargos. These aren't the clothes he usually wears, all I've seen him in is suits and shirts.
Although he looks so good in them.
"Oh you're back." He catches my gaze.
"Yeah." I raise an eyebrow when he doesn't exit. What is that smell? Why does he smell like smoke? "Why do you smell like that?"
"I just burnt a mannequin." He stays still in the elevator and I purse my lips together before entering,
"How?"
"I was practicing mini fire shots and I got scared. I do that a lot. I get scared easily in there." He doesn't look at me when he talks and I can sense something is wrong. Does this have to do with what happened with his last assistant?
"Well at least it's a mannequin and not a real person." I try to lighten up the mood but he turns to me with a dark stare and I widen my eyes realising that's what might've happened.
I stay silent, avoiding eye contact, praying to God I didn't mess up. He turns away and lowers his head. Shit.

"So at the mall today, I saw a cup saying 'I don't get cold in the winter, cuz that's my permanent state', and it reminded me of you." I grin at him and the corner of his mouth twitches. Is he really going to smile? His left dimple is trying to show and he turns to me,
"Didn't you find one that said 'I may not have an ass, but I sure as hell can be a pain in one' for you?"
"I don't have enough middle fingers to let you know how I feel." I brag and narrow my eyes at him when he exits.
"I do have an ass. A big one." I mumble to myself when he leaves. I head to my bedroom but on my way, I hear voices coming from inside a room.
"I just can't believe I lost all my chances with him." A woman's voice cries.
"Oh come on, you never had any chances with him anyway. I mean, he's Everett Levan for God's sake." Another woman says to her.
He's hot. Of course girls like him.
"At least I could pretend I had chances when he looked at me while laying the table, but now he has a fucking date."
Wait.
A date?
Date?
DATE?
Everett has a date?
And I learn it from a maid?
I've never seen him with a girl, how is this possible?
I don't care.
I'm just wondering.
Oh my god Everett has a date.
