chapter 40~ 30 years again

I took DNA testtest and, yes, we are actually siblings, we share one mother

But hold one, I'm 24 in few weeks, they just turned 21, so I was 3 when they were born

But weren't mom and Lorenzo married at the time, did she cheat, what happened

I walk into the house and saw twins, they immediately noticed that I was not in the mood, they look at each other and then at the floor

After short while they left the house, and only me and mom was left in the kitchen

"Mom"

"Yes"

"Is there anything perhaps you want to tell me"

"Nothin really comes to my mind, why"

"Well you know maybe something that happened 20-21 years ago"

She gets nervous, her hands clench into fist

"It's okay Mom, Just tell me and explain how did it all help happened when you were marriage to you know who" I'm trying to stay calm

"30 years ago I met him, I meet Antonio, and us being teenagers we fell in love but, My father had some kind of problems with his business or something like that I'm not sure I'm not with all those business stuff you know and arrange manage happened between your biological father" She explains and I just listen

"Of course I tried to forget Antonio with being with Lorenzo even though first few years he was good. It all changed when I got pregnant with you, Lorenzo started to be abusive I may say"

"He started to drink, do cocaine and some kind of other drugs and one night when he came home he has slept with another woman I could tell by smell and by his clothes, I cried hard, I thought I fell for him but then in that moment I realized that I felt nothing He slept with another woman and he just respected me and the only reason I was with him was because he was treating me well and I could only for a second forget about Antonio" she stayed silent

"And"

"After I gave birth to you I met with Antonio He told me that he has never loved another woman or looked at someone else who was not me and you know, feelings come back to you and the only thing that was waiting for me at home was your father who was cheating or abusing. also a human I also wanted to feel loved so that's how your twin brothers came into the world"

"Didn't Lorenzo knew" I ask her

She chuckles and says "of course he also knew that it wasn't his child because after I give birth to you I haven't touched him, but he was so concentrated off became a don of mafia that he said as 'long as you stay with me and play good wife I won't hurt you but as soon as the kid is born either you give them away or they die along with you"

"I know what I'm about to say sounds like an excuse but I wasn't the mother you deserved, I wasn't there when you needed me That's why things happened to you, I was with them, sneak out and even though Antonio promised me to take care of our boys, I couldn't help but sneak out and see them" I see tears on her eyes

"Okay Mom but my question here is why did the boys know that I was their sister and why was it that I didn't " I ask her being a little pissed

Suddenly a voices that I didn't expect them to be spoke "It was actually us who wanted for you to not know that we're your Brothers, I'm so sorry, we're so sorry that we didn't told you we just thought that if you knew that we were your brothers you would thought that we would be a bother or another challenge and that you would thought that we also would want to be part of mafia, which is of course not true but we are so sorry Silvia" Francisco spoke

"I just have a one simple question and it's a yes or no question did you guys knew about Gabriella" I ask them

"We didn't know her we never met her but we have heard about her"

I went to the car and started to drive after a while I stop and inhale the air but I hear other car stop next to mine

I look at it and see Luca coming out of it

"I'm sorry for being here but I really need to tell you this, please I beg you don't be mad at Mom everyday grieves about Gabriella She says that she's the reason why Gabriella isn't her, tryed to prove her wrong but  she really believes that it's not the truth because she would constantly be with us and if she was there at the time 9 or 8 years ago that she thinks the Gabriella would still be alive"

"Alive"

"What" she asks

"Oh nothing, just thoughts out loud" I stand up and drove to my house.

But before I enter it a hear another car park

I look at it and see familiar car, second latter Luca comes out of it

"Silvia, I'm- I'm sorry we didn't tell you" I hear nervousness in his voice and glossy eyes

"We thought that if we did, you would thought that you had competitior or-"

"Luca it's fine" I state

"So you- you don't want to kill us" he asks

I hesitated to answer because maybe if not them Ella would be still be alive for mom

"I won't"

"Really" he smiles and I nod

"Yeah, jus need some time alone" he nods and droves off

I walk to my house, waiting to lay in bed

I walk in and smell vanilla scent coming from kitchen

"What are you making" I ask him

"Cookies" Silas answers and smiles

"I'll be in my bed" I went to the bedroom, changed and layed there, not that I can sleep just need to rest my eyes

Few seconds later I hear door open, judging by footsteps it's Silas so I don't open my eyes

He gently lays next to me, he wraps his arms around me and asks

"What's wrong"

I sigh and started to tell him about twins

"Is it a bed thing or" he questions

"I'm not sure, Luca came all the way here asking if I would kill them"

"Why would you kill them" Silas asks

"Donno" I say wrapping my arms around his waist and inhale his vanilla scent

And second latter I fall asleep.
