It's been few months after grey's wedding and Silas been acting weird

Month after wedding he took me to a picnic, it's was beautiful, in dark theme and he did it all by himself without any help, and guess what he did at the end

He proposed

He said things that no other did and he knows I wouldn't believe it, so he reminded me to those moments when I acted the way I did,

I told him that I'm not the best option for him, I can't give him a child he wants because I'm not a capable of doing, after that he told me the reason why he wanted a baby with me

And it wasn't because he wanted to continue his bloodline but 'to give 'our daughter' stubborn heart or my temper, Give our kid my forest eyes. So that when we are gone, the world will find all the reasons I love you' he said

And kid who will have all beauty of  mine but would make sure not to give her any rage that we been through.

"I thought you were mad" I smirk

"Good" I say and play with his hair

"If we get married it will cause a problem and with other mafia leaders, they won't like that idea, I worked all my life to get where I am right now and I'm not willing to drop it" I state

"I'll quit" he said softly

"What" I ask

"I have cousins and uncles I can and will stop being a boss if you say a word" he assures me

I stay silent, why was marriage such to big deal if you like each other then be together being married to each other officially doesn't mean belong to each other, arranged marriage happens all the time and they still cheat, it doesn't matter if it's arranged marriage or not words on paper doesn't mean y'alls hearts belong to each other in this world

"Why is marriage such a big deal to you" I ask

"I want to call you my wife" he said as if he was embarrassed

"That's idiotic" I sigh
