Twenty Four

Edward smiled as he helped his wife to a rock to sit on. The Cullens were training, but Edward wasn't. He refuses to help, even though Tori and him talked about it, he wasn't going to help, he has more important things. Tori and Josie. "Edward?"

"Hmm."

"Why did we come if you're not helping?"

Edward smiled. "I wanted you to watch them train so you can see how it goes." Tori smiled as she looked at him till she gasped in pain. "Tori?"

Carlisle appeared in front of her. "How long have you been having contractions?"

"They just started." She tells him.

Edward looked at Carlisle. "What should I do?"

"Get her home and get her in the bed."

Edward helped his wife stand up till she looked down to see her water broke. The redhead looked at her husband causing him to pick up her up and leave. Carlisle looked at Tyler. "I'm sorry, Tyler, but they are getting ready to have the baby. I will go over the moves later."

Jasper nodded. "Go deliver Josie."

Edward sat beside the bed that held his wife. He smiled as she was sleeping, but the baby wasn't just here yet. Looking at the time, it's only been an hour. He sighed as Carlisle finally arrived. "How is she?"

"Sleeping. Being in labor for an hour has already worn her out." He says. "I don't know when Josie is ready to come, but her mind is silent. She's got me worried."

Carlisle put Tori's legs up to see what was if she's dilating. "Okay, she doesn't have long till Josie is born. You need to be prepared to turn your wife."

Edward nodded as he didn't understand how Josie was already coming unless Tori was already having contractions and she didn't feel them till an hour ago. He kissed her head as he took her hand. "We're about to meet our daughter, baby."

About 15 hours in, the others arrived as the training was over and they were confident that this battle will be okay. They heard a baby crying causing them to walk on in.  "She's perfect." Edward says. "She looks just like you."

"Josie Elizabeth Cullen."

Edward looked at her and knew she was dying. He handed his daughter over to Carlisle and bit his wife on the neck. Carlisle looked at his son and sighed. "I'm sorry for the mess that was caused." He tells him as Edward took his daughter back into his arms. "You and Tori are very important and we shouldn't have sided with Tyler."

Edward looked up from his daughter. "I'll wait till Tori is awake before forgiving you. We're in this together."

Carlisle nodded as he walked out. Edward looked at his daughter and smiled. "Josie, I can't wait for your mother to hold you." He says. "She's going to love you just like I do."

A knock was heard causing him to look to see the others walking in. Edward looked at his wife then daughter. "Welcome our daughter, Josie Elizabeth Cullen." He tells them. "When she wakes up, I will talk to her to see if you all should be forgiven, but for now, you all aren't forgiven besides Emmett and Rosalie."

"Can we hold her?" Bella asked.

Edward didn't know as he knew they weren't forgiven. "Wait till she wakes up before I let you hold her. The only people who can is Emmett and Rosalie."

They nodded as they walked out besides Rosalie. "I will clean her up."

"I'll do it." Edward tells her. "You can watch Josie."

Rosalie as she took Josie and left the room. Edward walked over to his wife and sighed. "I'll get you cleaned up and I will see you in two days, my love. I love you."
