All I Want To Do...

.. Is to make out with Paxton Hall-Yoshiba

Jaya had a dream that Paxton came over to her house and they made out so much, her windows behind her yellow tulle curtains fogged over. Jaya wakes up and she stares at the ceiling. She gets up out of bed and she changes into some tight skinny jeans and a Indian printed blouse she was left when her mom died. She looks in the mirror on her dresser and she smiles.

"तुम बिल्कुल अपनी माँ की तरह दिखती हो," Nalini says to her niece at the door. "Is that her blouse?"

"She left me her clothes and money when she died," Jaya says and she puts on some black flats. "I let the banks foreclose her clinic. I didn't want anyone else to run it, not with her gone."

"That's the best idea," Nalini replies. "Come on, sweetie, we don't want you to be late."

Jaya just got bombarded by her excited friends when she told them about possibly being able to make-out with Paxton. She threw a fit when she found out Fabiola finally asked out Alex Gomez. But she told her friends exactly what happened, even about her rambling, and Paxton's agreeing to be her first kiss.

Jay gets her a granola bar from the snack machine before going to history class. "Hi, Mr. Shapiro."

"Hey, Jaya!" Mr. Shapiro smiles. "How was your night?"

"It was good," Jaya replies and she goes to sit down behind Paxton's desk.

Eric, this nerdy boy, approaches her later outside as she waits for her tutor student to come. "Hey, Jaya.

Jaya smiles. She's aware that Eric has a crush on her and he knows that it's one-sided. She doesn't have feelings.

She's waiting for Alonso to show up for a tutoring session. Tutoring sessions have different schedules now and they can happen at any time. School is over and it's not a usual tutor club day.

"Hi, Eric," Jaya greets him.

Jaya's phone pings and it's Alonso, saying he's bailing.

"Hey, Jaya," Paxton greets as he walks over.

Eric sighs in defeat and he walks away when Paxton takes his crush's attention.

"Hey, Paxton."

"You good to come by now?" Paxton asks her.

'It's happening. It's happening. Stay calm. It's happening!' "Yeah. My tutor student just bailed."

Paxton nods. "Alright. Come on."

Jaya gets into Paxton's red vehicle as he gets in behind the wheel.

"You tutor?"

"I'm the leader of the tutoring club."

Paxton hums. "That's awesome," he says.

Paxton drives to his house with some music playing softly. He lills up into fur driveway and he leads Jaya into the shed, where he hangs out most of the time. There is a futon where he hangs with his friends and sometimes sleeps on it.

Jaya looks at the weights, Japanese chips, blender, and things ok a table. There is a Beware of Octopus sign nailed to the shelf. One of Paxton's t-shirts is hanging over a mirror beside it. Jaya turns and she looks around the rest of the small space, her bag shouldered.

The futon/couch is read and there is a blue, red, orange white, and light green pillow on one end and a small box on the other. There is a black chair near some cabinets beside a black crate like box with boxes on top of it. There's a small coffee table in front of the chair and couch with an 8-Ball, an opened bag of puff Cheetos, a blue plastic cup, two styrofoam plates, an ashtray some earbuds and some other trash-like this.
