Jaya sits on a red couch and she shows Paxton some rings.
"Promise rings," Jaya says to him.
They're sitting in the cafeteria together at school.
"Promise to always love each other?" Jaya asks.
"Promise to one day get married and try for more children."
Jaya nods. They put the promise rings on and they share a kiss before Trent walks over and plops down with them with Jason, Emmett, Scarlett, and some other popular people show up and join them. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
On Friday, Paxton and Jaya go to the school for Devi's recital. Jason is going to see Eleanor about how he got into ASU. Paxton didn't get into ASU or Yale but he got into Amherst College. Paxton already told Trent that he's moving to Massachusetts next year for college.
Paxton and Jaya sit with Indra, who's in front of Rhyea (Des' mom) and Nalini and Des.
"Good evening," the orchestra teacher says. "Welcome to the Sherman Oaks High School Spring Orchestra concert. It's actually been two years since our last spring concert, because as you may remember, I was a congested Ron Survivor last Spring. If I had a chance to do it again, I would make less enemies." He chuckles.
They watch the show while Devi has a panic attack in the bathroom because she thought she saw Mohan beside Indra in the audience. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
"Devi did so well," Indra says in awe as they to into the house.
"That was her first concern since Uncle Mohan died," Jaya says to Indra.
"I know," he replies gently. "I am so proud of her."
Jaya smiles. "So am I, Uncle." 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Jaya drives herself to school. It's like her popularity grew when she opened up about her miscarriage. But she does greet everyone as she passes them and she goes to eat breakfast in the cafeteria and she eats with Paxton's friend. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Jaya goes home after school and she looks up Harvard again. She smiles as she scrolls through the website and she reads about it. Jaya gets the schedule for early enrollment and she's going to fill it out when it's time. She gets a video chat from Paxton and she accepts immediately and she takes her shirt off.
"Want to have some fun?"
Paxton smiles and he removes his shirt. "Hell yeah."
