"So, Jaya Singh, where do you want to go to college?" Ben asks her in the hallway after first period.
"I want to go to Harvard," Jaya says and Ben's impressed by her Ivy League choice. "I also plan to go through medical school for four years and then five years as a resident. I want to specialize in them all like my uncle Indra."
"Hey, you!' Paxton pops up. "Hey, Gross."
"Hall-Yoshida," Ben greets. "Stay ambitious, Jaya. Harvard is a good school, and so is Harvard Medical."
Jaya and Paxton go to her locker.
"Harvard, huh?" Paxton smirks. "I applied to Amherst College just I'm case I don't get into Arizona State University. I enrolled in Yale, but I don't think I'm Ivy worthy."
"Now I don't know if I'll get into Harvard yet, Pax."
"You will," Paxton replies. "You're very smart."
Jaya smiles. "Thanks, Pax. You're smart, too."

Amelia made Biryani for dinner. Paxton is over and he kind of likes eating with his fingers like Indians do. It's so cultural.
"So, Jaya, have you thought of college?" Indra asks his niece.
"I want to go to Harvard and then Harvard Medical School," Jaya says. "Do my surgical residency at your hospital. Specialize in all specialties like you, Uncle." She grabs her chicken and takes a bite. "I want to be the next famous doctor I'm our family; Doctor Jaya Singh, or Doctor Moon Singh."
"Moon?"
"Moon is her middle name," Indra informs his niece's boyfriend. "Jaya Moon Singh."
"That's nice," Paxton says. "Jaya, I took your advice and finally got a plant for my shed. It's a plastic tree but..."
"It'll add life to it regardless," Jaya says. "Good. I'm glad you listened to me."
"What about you, Paxton?" Indra asks. "Have you thought about college?"
"I applied to Yale, Arizona State University, and Amherst College," Paxton admits. "Our counselor said it's better to have a few applications for backups."
"The counselor was correct," Indra says. "I went to Harvard, but I applied to Amherst and Yale and John's Hopkins and ASU myself. I got accepted into Harvard and Amherst." 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Jaya and Aneesa are talking at locker at school about Neesa's soccer game tomorrow when Paxton approaches.
"Hey, the vending machine gave me an extra chips ahoy and I thought of you."
"Awe, so cute," Aneesa coos as Jaya grabs the cookies.
"Hey, we'll be at your game tomorrow, Neese," Paxton says.
"Awesome, thanks!" Aneesa replies happily and the bell rings.
"I gotta go." He gives Jaya a tender kiss and fist bumps Aneesa before walking down the hall, both of them knowing of the troll drama Devi so going through because Eleanor caught them up when Jason wasn't around.

Jaya goes to the library for tutoring while Devi meets with Haley Garcia - Jason's childhood friend - and she sits with Jessica Moore, her new tutee.
"Hey, Jessica," Jaya greets.

"Okay, what am I tutoring you over?" Jaya asks her.
"Chemistry," Jess replies.

Jaya and Paxton do go to the soccer game like they told Aneesa. They don't sit with Ben. They sit near some other actual sports fans. Jaya isn't a fan of sports but she's a fan of Aneesa and that is enough for her. Pax reaches over and he grabs her hand, their fingers interlock as they watch the ga,e.
Jaya cheers for Aneesa since Ben is distracted by texting Devi and watching a TikTok live about Jason apologizing to every girl he wronged.
"Here we go!" Jaya and Fabiola call pig at the same time.
"Let's go Aneesa!"
They cheer when Sherman Oaks won. Jaya and Paxton high five and she goes up to where Fabiola and Ben are. Jaya, Fabiola, and Paxton head inside to get the rest of their things and Fabiola is putting her robot back into the robotics club classroom. Jaya and Paxton leave and they go to his house to Jane protected sex while Jason brings both Devi and Haley out for lunch.
