Jaya is laying on Paxton at her house in her bed. He's shirtless but she doesn't mind. Her uncle approves of him. Pax shifts a little but he lays there. He kisses her head and she smiles.

Paxton lets Jaya drive him to school in her car. He likes it and how smooth it drives. Jaya parks in Paxton's usual spot and they get out of the car. They go inside and they see Jason with a cast. They go to class and they sit together.

"Hey, babe," Paxton says as they leave the room when History's over. "Can you tutor me?"

Jaya pauses and Paxton runs into her. "Really?"

"You're too excited about this," Paxton says.

"I'll tutor you," Jaya says.

They go to the cafeteria. Jaya grabs Paxton's fruit and her spaghetti and some other food and goes to where the others are. Trent first bumps her and grabs the chicken she got him.

"What's up, J?" Marcus boasts.

"Hey, Marcus," Jaya greets happily.

They're all hating when Jason and Emmett finally join them, Emmett in a case.

"Can't believe you got paid by dorks," Marcus says. "You're not a dork, J, you're cool. You was before Paxton."

Jaya rolls her eyes.

"Are you not as hot as you used to be?" Marcus asks Paxton. "Am I the hottest one in the group now?"

"Marc, that's always been Paxton," Jaya comments before she takes a bite of her spaghetti.

"Coyote Girl cheated on you with that Young Sheldon-looking dude," Trent says and nods towards Ben and looks back at Jason, "and now you smell like wet cast. You've lost your edge, Jason."

"Shut up, dickhead," Paxton speaks up. "He hasn't lost anything."

"Anyone wanna sign my cast?" Jason asks aloud and girls come hurrying over.

Jaya doesn't join her friends until they start bad-mouthing her cousin.

Jaya puts on an an Indian sleeping robe and she lets Paxton in. They go into the dining room. Paxton talked to Jennifer Warner, the counselor, and his grades aren't good for college. So he asked his girlfriend to help him study. Jason's in the same boat, he wants to be a zoologist.

"Amelia is making enchiladas and some Mexican juice," Jaya says. "And I'm not doing the work for you. I'll help you but you have to do it yourself."

Paxton pouts. "Come on."

"No, Paxton," Jaya scolds.

Pax sighs. "Fine!"

The two work for hours and Paxton actually finished his English essay. The next few days go by with ease. Paxton goes to Jaya's to study and get help with his work but does it himself. They go between her house and his house. Jaya got to talk to Rebecca even more.

Paxton is now kissing on Jaya and kisses on her neck. He feels confident about his grades. He doesn't want to keep swimming so he wants to get into college on his grades and Jaya is helping him get through to it.

"Thank you so much for helping me study," Paxton says. "But I'm going to go visit my grandpa."

"Have fun," Jaya says.

Paxton kisses her once more before leaving.

Paxton and Jaya are still the It-Couple of Sherman Oaks. So everyone still watches as they walk around school with their hands held, even if Jaya is quizzing him like Devi is Jason. Paxton drapes an arm over her shoulder and they head to class together.

They take their test in History. They're short answer questions, not multiple choice. Paxton and Jason end up running because they panic. Jaya finishes her test and Shapiro lets her go check on her boyfriend. She finds Paxton on the couch in the cafeteria. She walks over and she sits beside him, her legs over his.

"You okay?" Jaya asks. "What happened?"

"I don't know," Paxton answers as Devi finds Jason on the stairs. "It was the craziest thing. My... my heart was racing, I felt like I couldn't breathe." He sighs. "I mean, all of this over a history test. What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing," Jaya replies as she peers at him. "You had a panic attack, Pax."

"I... I used to get nervous before swim meets," Paxton admits, "but, I mean, once I hit the water, it went away because I knew I was good at it."

"You can be good at school, too, Pax," Jaya says. "You just need to practice. Practice is always a good thing. Remember when I was an inexperienced, awkward kisser?"

Paxton nods. "I remember."

"And with practice, I got better right?"

Paxton nod.

"And you had a panic attack because you care," Jaya says. "You care about school."

"Jaya, I walked out and failed the text," Paxton says.

"Come on," Jaya says. "I'll talk to Mr. Shapiro."

Paxton nods and he kisses his girlfriend. "Thanks."

They get up and go to talk to Mr. Shapiro.

"A B," Jaya says as Paxton shows him her grade at her house. "That's better than usual."

Paxton smiles. "I want you to keep tutoring me, Jay," he says.

"Of course, Pax," she says with a smile. "Wanna play Red Dead Redemption with me?"

Paxton smirks. "Oh yeah." He walks with her to the living room and Jaya gets the game going.
