Jaya and Paxton wall into school twee weeks later and on the other end, they see Jason and Devi walking up the hall holding hands, debuting their relationship like Paxton and Jaya did a while back. Everyone stops what they're doing to watch Jason and Devi and like they still do for Jaya and Paxton sometimes.

"What did we miss after we went to your place?" Jaya asks her boyfriend.

Pax drapes his arm over Jaya's shoulder. "Not sure," he says. "I like it. I hope she doesn't hurt him again."

"She won't," Jaya says. "She won't be that student again."

These last two weeks have been good for Jaya and Paxton. They've had sex, enjoyed Christmas together, he spent it with his parents but the rest of his Christmas break with Jaya and Indra. He and Indra are close, he likes the man and Indra adores Paxton.

"I'm going to class, Pax," Jaya says.

While she sits with her friends in the cafeteria later, Jaya gets on her Duolingo app she's been using to learn Japanese. She's been using that and Google translate.

"The debut of Deson was unreal," Eleanor says. She knows it wasn't as unreal as the deput of Jayxton. "It brought me back to the debut of Jayxton! The hallway was littered with backpacks that people dropped in shock - again."

"It was awesome!" Aneesa says. She wasn't here when Jaya and Paxton revealed they're relationship to the school but she heard that it was epic, because they zoom became the hottest couple here.

"Yeah, and you made it onto Lady Whistleboy for the first time ever."

"At least they don't only post me anymore," Jaya muses as she types I Love You into the Google translate to translate it into Japanese curiously.

"Are you guys banging yet?" Aneesa asks. "I can't wait to read Ladu Whistleboy's take on that."

Every one of her friends knows that Jaya lost her virginity on the night of the dance and so do Paxton's friends and everyone else. Once Zoe, Carly, and Shira knew, everyone in Sherman Oaks knew, even Indra. Indra wasn't pissed. He wasn't married when he lost his virginity either. He's just glad it was with someone Jaya sees a future with.

Jaya's virginity-taking was also on Lady Whistleboy's TikTok page.

"We're circling it," Devi claims. "We both want to. It's imminent for sure."

Eleanor gets a text.

Trent, 10:12am: Look up.

Everyone looks up and sees Trent try to pull of a stunt but drops his water bottle.

"Oh, shit!" He quickly picks it up.

"Nice try, T."

"Awe, thanks Lil' J!" Trent replies and he walks away, giving Eleanor a look.

"Uh..." Aneesa laughs. "What's going on with you and Trent?"

"I've never seen that guy so smitten before," Jaya admits. "That attempt to be cool was just for you, El."

"She's right," Aneesa says.

"Ugh!" Eleanor groans. "I mean, we hung out a couple of times over Christmas break. My parents definitely hate him, which is exciting."

"Star-crossed lovers is your dream," Fabiola gushes.

"I know," Eleanor replies, "but it's confusing. We haven't kissed yet, but he did leave a bag of weed under my Christmas tree. What do you guys think that means?"
