Jaya glares at people when they say anything about Aneesa and now that she's up on the social food chain, people shut up. Devi said she'd find out who spread the rumor about Aneesa even though it was her.

Neesa walks over to Jaya when she finds her. "Thank you for sticking up to me."

Jaya touches her shoulder. "Of course," she says. "You're my friend, Nee."

"I'm gonna go find Devi." Needs hugs Devi and leaves.

Jaya smiles and she goes to the cafeteria to study History.

"Trig?" Jaya reads the work. "Pax, we've been over this."

"I know but it still makes no sense," Paxton responds.

Jaya is sitting with Paxton at lunch and they read through the notecards once again. He has a chemistry test soon and he's anxious. Jaya is eating a grilled chicken salad. She's leaning against Paxton and eating now that they're done with the cards and Trent and the guys and Neesa soon join.

Jaya goes over to Devi's later and she's upstairs with Eleanor, Fabiola, Devi, and Aneesa. They're eating pizza and drinking soda. Her uncle is downstairs with her grandmother, his mother. He brought Jaya and Aneesa here.

"The only thing I agree with my boring dad and snooze-fest Sharon is that Cheesy Bread paired with Diet Coke Jax it's own taste personality," Eleanor comments and everyone hums in agreement. Her face changes when she looks at Neesa. "Oh, shit, I'm sorry. Am I talking about food too much?" she asks.

"Oh." Aneesa scoffs. "It's fine. I guess, uh, we should talk about what's going on in my cuckoo brain."

"You don't have to tell us," Fabiola says. "

"Ah, nah," Neesa says with a sigh. "I do, but feel free to feel awkward." She sighs. "Okay, so last year I kinda fell in with the cool girls, and, uh, luckily for me, I wasn't just the only brown girl in the group. I was also the Muslim brown girl whose mom insisted she wear a full sweat suit to every pool party. So literally the one thing those girls every complimented me on was being skinny. And then something inside my brain made me feel like I couldn't be skinny enough, and I just couldn't stop. So I had to go to a special hospital. But I want you guys to know that I'm in a program and I'm doing much better, and I'm so glad I met you guys. Especially you, Devi and Jaya." She sighs. "To have Indian friends who get me and would never treat me like I don't belong is probably the - "

"It was me," Devi blurts and Jaya sits up, her eyes narrowing.

"What was you?" Fabiola asks.

"I started to rumor," Devi admits.

"What?" Neesa asks lowly, feeling betrayed.

"I started the rumor," Devi says. "I'm the one who told Shira and Zoe, but I didn't even know it was true. I was just mad that you hooked up with Ben, and I used to date him. So I freaked out, and I'm really, really. Really sorry, Aneesa."

"We should go," Jaya says and Aneesa nods weakly. "I am really mad at you, Devi. Don't text me." She grabs Neesa's hand and they walk out and downstairs. "Uncle, we want to leave now."

"Okay," Indra replies. He kisses his mother on the cheek before he leaves with the girls.

Devi goes to talk to Jaya but she ignores as she talks to Neesa to soothe her. She leaves her when she knows she's okay and she walks over to Paxton.

"Hey, Pax."

Paxton drapes an arm over her shoulder. "Hey." He smiles. "Has my old texted you any more?"

"Yeah," Jaya says. "But it's cool. She's nice and told me that she has no hard feelings after you two talked. I trust you, Pax."

"Hey, guys," Scarlett, Paxton's old friend, greets as she walks over. "If it isn't the hottest couple in Sherman Oaks."

"Hey, Scar," Paxton greets.

Jaya leans underneath Paxton's arm as Nalini and Devi leave the principal's office after Neesa. Nalini doesn't look happy as she pulls on her jacket. Devi tries to talk to Aneesa to apologize but Devi was selfish because she was suspended. Jaya rolls her eyes.

"Can you come over later?" Jaya asks. "Amelia is making chicken tacos."

"I'll be over," Paxton says. "I passed my chemistry test. Jason failed, though."

"That's why Devi yelled at him?"

"Guess so," Paxton replies. "See you later. I'm gonna be sore Jason's okay."

Jaya nods and she walks over to Aneesa. "Hey, Nee."

"Hey, gorgeous," Neesa greets and the others also greet her.

Devi watches from her locker sadly before she slams it closed and storms away.
