"Stop playing with your wand," Cassiopeia hissed, slapping Scarlett's hand away from her wand, "Never point it towards yourself." Scarlett grumbled as she put her wand back in her pocket.

"I can't believe you made us miss the train," William complained as he hopped onto his trunk.

"I did not! Blame Charlie, he was the one who was adamant about finding that weird locket of his," Scarlett grumbled, "Why couldn't he send it over to Nix himself?"

"I don't know, Scarlett. All I know is we missed our train because of you. He asked you to keep the damn thing safe and you had to go and lose it."

"Stop it you two," Arthur said checking his pocket watch, "The train must be arriving any minute now."

"William, you better take care of your sister and Scarlett, stop fighting with your brother. You're not apes living in the wild."

Desmond snicked, "You're sure, dad?"

William narrowed his eyes at him, "Did you just call me an ape?"

"No, I believe dad did."

Cassiopeia sighed as she hugged Arthur's arm, "Did you talk to Hagrid about the boat?"

Arthur nodded, "I made sure that none of them trip over," he replied, holding Scarlett back from her pacing.

"Why the sudden pacing?"

"She's worried about leaving Nix and Draco alone," Marcus answered, as he waved at the tall, friendly giant. "Evening, Hagrid."

"Allo, Marcus! Missed yeh train, eh? Dumbledore said I'll be seein' you lot ere," Hagrid said, holding a lamp over his head.

Arthur smiled, "Ah look, the kids are here!"

Hagrid turned around and started calling out the first years, who were getting out of the train. Having spotted Phoenix and Jack among the crowd, Scarlett ran up to them.

"I'm so sorry we missed the train -," Scarlett began, when Phoenix pulled her into a hug. Scarlett sent a questioning look to Jack as she hugged her back.

"We missed you," Jack replied, as Phoenix broke the hug.

"You better follow Hagrid if you don't want to miss your sorting," Arthur called, as Cassiopeia kissed the kid's goodbye.

"Look after each other, okay?" she said, hugging Scarlett who nodded eagerly.

"Yes, mum. Can we go now, please?" she begged, watching everyone disappear down the narrow path.

"Send us an owl, both of you," she called out, as Scarlett dragged Phoenix away.

"You too young man," Cassiopeia said sternly, as Marcus hugged Jack.

"Yes ma'am."

Arthur chuckled, "Off you go now. We'll see you soon," he added, as Cassiopeia tidied his hair. Jack muttered a quick thank you before making his way to Hagrid, who was waiting for him.

"Bye!" Desmond yelled after his siblings as he watched them disappear into the trees. He looked up at his mom, "I'll miss them," he whispered, wrapping his arms around her legs. Marcus ruffled his hair as Cassiopeia placed a kiss on his head. "I'll miss them too," she mumbled, as Arthur wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Oi, quit moping around. They're about to have a brilliant Hogwarts feast in a while, shouldn't we have a feast too?" he chuckled, as he watched Desmond's eyes widen in surprise.

"Come on. Let's go home," Marcus added, as he picked up Desmond. Cassiopeia held Marcus's hand in hers and they disapparated with a Crack!
