Draco, Blaise, and Daphne looked at Scarlett questioningly, wondering what she was talking about. Still, Scarlett watched Phoenix curiously, silently praying she'd catch onto what she was saying. And much to her relief, Phoenix did as she looked up at Scarlett with a huge smile.

"To me?"

"To you."

"A very merry unbirthday?" Draco asked questioningly, but Scarlett ignored him as Phoenix cut in with a chuckle.

"For me?"

"For you." Affirmed Scarlett, making Phoenix break out into a huge grin.

"Aye, don't forget about us poor Pure-bloods here," Blaise said, "Don't be shy. Tell us what it means so that we can join in too!"

"It means," Scarlett yelled, jumping off the chair with the blanket still tightly wrapped around her. She grabbed Phoenix's hand, pulling her to her feet, twirling her around, "If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And, contrariwise, what it is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You, see?"

"Merlin's Beard! What on earth are you talking about?" Blaise asked, looking flabbergasted. At that very moment, Phoenix let out a strange grunting-like noise resembling something of a cat's meow.

Scarlett turned to Blaise with one hand on her hips, patting Phoenix's head with the other, and said, "In my world, you wouldn't say 'Merlin's Beard!' or 'Meow'." She wriggled her arms out of the blanket and bowed down into a curtsey before adding, "You'd say, 'Yes, Miss Scarlett.' Now, repeat after me!" she cried, but Phoenix quickly stopped her.

"If you burst into a song, I'll run away from here."

"You would?" Scarlett asked, in a very uncharacteristically thick posh accent making Phoenix laugh. "Oh, yes. Miss Scarlett, I would."

"I knew you had a couple of bolts and screws missing in that wee little head of yours, Scar but Nix, you too? Have you both lost your mind?" Blaise asked as Draco and Daphne stared at the pair, trying to hide their laughter.

Scarlett and Phoenix looked at him momentarily and then at each other, smirking. Scarlett freed herself from Phoenix's grip and leaned in towards him. She was so close to his face that he could feel her eyelashes flutter against his cheek. Startled, he moved away from her, but she pulled him back and whispered eerily in his ear. "Well, haven't you heard? Most everyone's mad here."

Blaise let out a piercing shriek, making Scarlett jump away in surprise. He jumped out of her bed and hid behind Draco and Daphne as he yelled, "KEEP THIS DEMON LADY AWAY FROM ME!"

Scarlett grinned triumphantly as she stared at Blaise's horrified face, "Now, we're even."

Phoenix and Daphne looked at Draco questioningly, who sighed in exasperation. "Don't ask."

"I should've let Nott hex you," Blaise grumbled as he held onto Draco's shoulders, using him as a shield.

"He wouldn't know what a hex is if it hit him in the face," Scarlett laughed as she sat on her bed.

"Oh, I wouldn't be too sure of that," Draco said, "He's a sharp bloke."

"Complementing the enemy?" Scarlett asked, raising an eyebrow at Draco, "Thought we didn't like him."

"I don't. I am just stating the obvious," Draco replied with a shrug.

"Enough about Nott," Daphne chided. "Are you going to tell us more about the show you just put on or not?" she asked Scarlett.

"It was marvellous, by the way," Phoenix cheered, clapping. "Next time, try not to kill Blaise in the process."

"Yes! Thank you!" Blaise yelled, looking at Phoenix, who chuckled as she sat beside him. Blaise wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her neck, "You're my favourite. Did I tell you that?"
