Chapter Fourteen

I opened my eyes to a very unfamiliar surroundings. I am lying in a garden full of lavenders, and the moment I saw them, the only person who came to my mind is Paa.

Lavenders have always been his favourite flowers. He used to find comfort in them, just like me.

I was looking around when I heard the voice I thought I'm never hear.

"There you are. You're awake." Spoke Paa.

"P-paa...?" I stuttered with tears in my eyes.

"The one and only." He spoke with his signature smile.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Am I dreaming? Is it really Paa? No it can't be.

"Oh my God. I can see the wheels turning in your head Princess. Don't stress that pretty brain of yours." He said while sitting besides me.

"Am I dreaming Paa? Or am I really seeing you?" I asked with my eyes big.

"Well I won't say it's a dream completely but something similar." He spoke with a smile.

"What do you mean Paa?" I asked.

"Look there Princess." He spoke pointing below us.

I looked where he was asking me to look and three person lying there looked very familiar.

"Th-hat's me?" I said, more like a question.

"It sure is." He spoke.

"Where am I Paa?" I asked again.

"Darling, do you remember what happened before you lost your consciousness?" He asked.

I just shook my head as a 'no', so he asked me to try and remember.

"I... I saw someone kissing my boyfriend and ran to the terrace to get away from everyone."

"Good. And what happened next?" He asked.

"Someone came and kicked me on my right shoulder." Saying that, I tried to touch my right shoulder, only to wince in pain.

"Why is my shoulder paining so much Paa?" I asked him.

"You broke your right shoulder and left leg darling." He spoke.

I just gasped at that and tried to remember what happened next, and that's when it all came rushing back.

Someone pushing me off of the stairs and I falling down, rolling on the stairs. And then apologizing to a very familiar face before I lost my consciousness.

"That's my child. You remember everything now." Spoke Paa.

"I do. But I don't know those people."
