Chapter Forty-five ⚠️

As soon as the jet landed on the Helipad of Seoul National University Hospital, you were rushed to the OT. Namjoon was right on your heels, leaving it upon your father and Bang PD to inform the others about everything and then make their way to you.

The doors to the operation theatre shut, preventing Namjoon from following you any further. He started pacing the floor in front of the OT, impatient to find out how you are.

After half an hour, the others joined him in the waiting room where the hospital staff had asked Namjoon to wait. He was hesitant at first but agreed upon knowing that the closest area to the OT is the waiting room and the doctors will come straight to him as soon as they're out of there.

Everyone was trying to comfort him, but he wasn't having any of it. He just wanted to know you're alright and be there by your side.

3 hours passed by before the operation theatre finally opened and 3 doctors stepped out. Namjoon was immediately on his feet upon seeing one of the doctors walk towards them. He waited impatiently for the doctor to tell him how you are, but as soon as the words came out of his mouth, the world seemed to have slipped from beneath Namjoon's feet.

"She's stable now, breathing on her own, but we had to keep her in a medically induced coma." The doctor, whose name everyone noticed was Kim Jong-In spoke.

Before any of them could say anything, Dr. Kim continued. "She was injected with Ketamine, Flunitrazepam, and Suxamethonium in very high quantities for a long period, which we suppose was more than a month. How she survived them, is shocking us, but a miracle at the same time." He spoke and waited to see if anyone had any questions.

Namjoon wanted to ask what those drugs did, but his voice was gone. His throat was dry and he couldn't form a single word. Thankfully for him, your father asked the questions he wanted to ask.

"What do those drugs do doctor?" Asked your father holding his breath just like every one of them were.

"Ketamine causes people to feel separated or detached from their body or physical environment.

Flunitrazepam, also known as Rohypnol, is widely known for its use as a date rape drug. It causes drowsiness, dizziness, loss of motor control, impaired judgement and some other effects too.

Whereas Suxamethonium is one drug that causes extremely rapid muscular paralysis, and optimal intubating conditions." He completes speaking and waits to see if there are any questions.

After a few minutes, Namjoon finally speaks up. "Is that all doctor? When can we see her?" He asks impatiently.

"I'll let you see her in a while Mr Kim, but there are a few things you need to know before that." He spoke and when Namjoon nodded his head, he continued.

"Miss Jones has 5 fractured bones, her right leg below the knee, her left arm and 3 of her ribs. We have treated her but she's been paralysed from her waist below due to drugs.

And I'm very sorry to inform this to you Mr Kim, but your girlfriend was pregnant, but had a miscarriage due to the heavy amounts of drugs in her system." Spoke Dr. Kim and Namjoon suddenly felt dizzy.

Y/N was pregnant? With his baby? And they'd lost them now?

He thought to himself but then turned to the doctor when something clicked in his mind. "How... How far along was she?" He asked after catching his breath.
