"What do you mean baby?" I asked back.
"Joonie, why me out of all the amazing girls you could choose from?" She repeated herself, this time clearly.
"Cause darlin...
"Y/N, Princess, you're gonna be late. Make it a bit faster." I heard my father calling from the living room.
2 years have gone by, and today, after two long years, a lot of challenges, and unlimited love and support from my loved ones, I'm getting married.
Yes, you heard that right. I, Y/N Jones, am finally getting married, to the man who means the world and more to me, the man who's loved me unconditionally despite all my flaws and drawbacks, the man who's been nothing but a blessing to my life.
I couldn't help but think back to the day Namjoon proposed to me 3 months back.
Flashback ~
3 months back-
"Nammie, are we there yet?" I asked while tightly holding onto his hand.
I was blindfolded and Namjoon was walking me to God knows where.
We'd been walking continuously for what felt like hours now, and my feet felt like they'd just fall off any moment now, especially with the 6-inch stilettos I was wearing.
I heaved a sigh of relief when we finally came to a stop and heard Namjoon saying "We're here baby".
"OK Nabi, on the count of three, I was you to take off your blindfold. Ok?" He asked. His voice didn't sound very distant, but I knew he was no longer beside me.
As I nodded my head to his question, he started counting.
"One..."
"Two..."
"And.... Three..."
And with that, I pulled off my blindfold, and the scene in front of me made me gasp so loud.
There, in front of my eyes, was the love of my life on one knee, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and all of our loved ones surrounding us.
