We spent the next two days in Ilsan. Our days started with waking up to each other and ended with cuddling each other to sleep.

We watched movies, ate whatever food our hearts desired for, ⏤ not once caring about my diet plan ⏤ having mind-blowing sex, and just showing each other how much we really do love one another.

For two days and 48 hours, both of us forgot that anyone other than us existed. It was just my gorgeous woman and I in this whole damn world that mattered then.

But reality came crashing down on us on the third day. We drove back from Ilsan to Seoul the next morning.

Once we reached our apartment, we both changed, got freshened up, and drove to my parents' place. My woman wanted to personally thank them for being so understanding and helping her.

When we reached there, and she thanked them, my Eomma just pulled her into a bone-crushing hug and said "Daughters don't thank their mother or father for being there for her. We're always here for you. Remember that Y/N-ah! You're our Joonie's girlfriend. We're all a family now."

Appa was the next to speak, pulling her into a fatherly hug, and patting her back. "And remember Y/N, if this idiot son of ours does anything again, we're here to kick his ass with you. You're not alone anymore. You've got the Kims by your side now." He'd said.

Both my Brother, and Sister also pulled her into a hug and told her how much they enjoyed the time they spent with her, and that they'd love to meet up with her again.

My sister and Y/N were already planning to meet up for lunch on a weekend and spend some time shopping and having fun.

My heart felt so full, and content, at seeing my family being so welcoming towards her, and accepting her with open arms. I could never be thankful enough to them.

After our leave-taking, we drove from my parent's place to Y/N's dad's place.

I knew that she was nervous to face him again, her shaking form was evidence of it. But I didn't know what to do, so I did the only thing I felt was right.

Pulled her into a hug, dropped a gentle kiss on her head, and reassured her that everything was going to be just fine.

We walked up to the front door once she calmed down and knocked on the door, which opened after a minute or two, revealing Mr Jones standing on its other side.

He walked us into the living room and asked us to take a seat. We did, and then so did he and his wife. And then followed by her half-siblings.

None of us uttered a single word for a while, letting Y/N collect her thoughts and decide what to speak, whom to speak, and when to speak.

After a while, she broke the silence, uttering the words none of us thought would be what she'd say first. "Are you happy?" She asked looking at her father.

When he didn't reply, just tilted his head, like he was asking her to elaborate, she spoke again. "With your new family? Are you happy with them? With your new life?" She repeats herself in a small voice like it's paining her to even think about her father having another family.
