"How are you feeling Y/N?" Asked the doctor whose name I'd learnt was Kim Jong-In.

"Like a total wreck. I don't know what time has passed by. I don't know where I am. I don't know how the baby in my tummy is. And I don't know what happened to those 3 monsters." I spoke looking away, avoiding anyone and everyone's gaze.

"We'll get there Y/N. We'll tell you everything, but before anything, we need to check your vitals." Spoke another doctor named Chae HyungWon.

The next few minutes were spent checking my vitals by the doctors while the nurse stayed by their side and noted down everything in a notepad.

Once they were done with it, they pulled off their gloves and turned towards me.

"Ask us whatever you want Y/N. We'll answer as much as we can." Smiled Doctor HyungWon.

"How long was I unconscious for?" I asked not looking at any one of them in particular.

Doctor Jong-In answered, telling me that they had to keep me in a medically induced coma, and I was unconscious for 3 months now.

I couldn't believe that it's been 5 months now since everything happened.

The doctors then proceeded to tell me how the drugs had affected me and made me partially paralysed waist below, and how I had broken bones as well.

"But how is that possible? Now too long ago I literally ran to Paa and hugged him. If I was paralysed, how could I walk? And if I had broken bones, why is there no cast or why don't I feel any pain?" I asked, confused with everything.

"Y/N-shi, because you were out for 3 months straight, your fractures have healed completely, and as it was only partial paralysis, we'd given you medication to cure you.

"Which is why you could walk and aren't even feeling any pain. 3 months can do a lot. Though these 3 months were nothing less than torture for your loved ones, it was very good for your body and its injuries.

"If you'd've woken up from the coma sooner than this, your body would've taken longer to heal. When you constantly move your body, it takes more time to heal." Answered Doctor HyungWon with a small smile.

It took me a while to process all the information, and by the time I did, I suddenly realised that I had been put in a medically induced coma for 3 months, and I'd been pregnant for more than a month before I was rescued, which means I was more than 4 months along.

I immediately looked down at my belly and placed my hands on it. If everything was ok, I should be showing by now. Then why wasn't I? Did something happen?

I lifted my head towards the doctors, and with worry-filled within me, I asked, "What about the baby in my belly? I know I'm pregnant. Why am I not showing?" My eyes filled with tears, and I couldn't help letting them fall.

As the doctor opened his mouth to answer, Namjoon and Paa moved onto either side of me took my hands in theirs, and nodded towards the doctor.

"Y/N-shi, the drugs you were given are very strong ones. Because of the amount of drugs you'd been given, it affected the baby.

By the time you were rescued and brought to the hospital, the baby inside your womb had already lost its life.

We're so sorry to inform this to you Y/N but you had a miscarriage. As you were only 1 and a half months along by then, we couldn't tell the gender of the baby.
