"Okay, this is so not the woods," Ella said as she gasped in the amazing castle we were in. Servants were bustling in the background, maids carrying long cloths, butlers barking orders to the servants. Snow, Selena, Ella, and I were cooped up in the corner so no one would notice us.
"Anyone have an idea where we are?" Selena asked.
Ella shook her head. "Nope, this isn't my castle. It's not Snow's either."
Snow stood up, catching one of the maid's attention. "Excuse me, what are all the servants preparing for?"
"It is the princess' 15th birthday and the King and Queen are planning a big celebration. If you'll excuse me your highness, I have to go finish cleaning the vases," the maid said quickly, holding up a cloth.
I looked at Snow's outfit, she was wearing a beautiful princess dress. So were all of us, we were all dressed like royalty. Mine was a white long sleeved dress, I looked like a bride. I couldn't wait to go to the other story so I could go into more comfortable clothes.
"So," Snow said, "this is a princess story except we don't know which one. I should have asked for the name when I had the chance."
Selena groaned. "I wish these stories would come with a title, how else are we supposed to find out?"
All of a sudden there was a commotion, the servants each stepped to one side of the hall as a fairy floated our direction. She had ebony hair with blue highlights, sparkly blue dress, and matching fluttering wings. The fairy fluttered by until she stopped in front of Selena.
"Hello, do you know where the rooms are for the fairies? This castle is like a maze, have you checked in?"
Selena shook her head slowly. "No. Why are you asking me?"
The fairy tilted her head. "Aren't you a fairy as well? We radiate our magic so fellow fairies can distinguish each other."
Selena's eyes widened. "Um, yes. I am, uh, what is the princess' name?"
The fairy smiled. "Oh dear, playing games. My name is Petunia, what's yours?"
"Selena, really, what is the name of the princess?"
Trumpets blared and a young man dressed like a knight yelled, "Fairies, please report to the grand hall to be seated!"
Petunia grimaced before smiling at Selena. "I'm sorry Selena, I'll try to save you a seat. Ta-Ta!"
Petunia waved her wand and disappeared in a flurry of sparkles. Selena groaned before taking out her own wand. She looked at us for a moment before frowning. "I'm so sorry, but this is the only way I can figure out what's going on. It bugs me, I'll find out what the princess' name is."
Selena vanished just as well, leaving us flabbergasted. Snow let out a big breath before ruffling her gown, taking Ella and my hand and dragging us down the hallway.
"Come on guys, we'll figure out what story this is on our own. We're dressed like princesses so they'll let us figure out where the princess is."
Ella sighed. "Which one could be the bedchamber? All these doors look the same."
Snow crossed her arms. "You ask. I'm pretty sure one of these servants know where the princess is."
Snow looked for a servant and focused her eyes on a butler rearranging the chandeliers on a ladder. Snow walked up to him and knocked on it. "Excuse me, where is the princess' room?"
The butler looked down and smoothed his mustache. "Yes, your highness. What can I do to help you?"
"Would you please tell me where the room of the princess is?"
