*slaps author* "Don't call me that! My new name is the Siren."
*Author rubs her cheek* "Why'd you change your name anyway?"
*Ms. Sierra-I mean, The Siren rolls her eyes* "Because the Siren sounds cooler and more villainy."
*Author rolls her eyes* "Whatever, let's get back to the story."

The Siren's POVI made a big smirk as I glanced at my surroundings. I glanced down at my beautiful mermaid tail, fluorescent green sparkles with fish fins at the end. Unfortunately, I did look like the stereotypical Disney version of the little mermaid. While I admired my beauty, little girls would clamor and ask for my autograph saying they wanted to be like me and get their own Prince Eric.
I snarled as I clutched a piece of seaweed until it was only bits and pieces. His real name was Ijorid, and he had the good looks with ebony black hair, bright blue eyes, and sparkling pearly whites. He was a wolf in sheep's clothing, leading me with delusions of love until he ditched me for another girl who was supposedly his rescuer.
"Ijorid," I said in a sickly sweet manner, "it's time for me to end the relationship."

Marina collapsed. I was pouring bowl after bowl of water but nothing seemed to be working. She just laid there with her eyes closed, I tried feeling a pulse on her neck but I didn't feel any vibrations or when I put my head on her chest and there was no heartbeat. She couldn't be dead, could she?Marina slowly stirred as I was about to pour the 10th bowl of water on her face and she opened her eyes. "Katie? Where am I?"
"Still in the cave," I felt relieved. She was fine.
Marina got up fast causing me to spill the bowl of water which caused the fire to flicker and die down. She snapped her fingers and the fire reappeared.
"Katie, The Siren is here."
I couldn't have heard her right. "Um, what did you say?"
"The Siren is here! Ms. Sierra, Ariel, whatever you'd like to call her, she's here! Her very being is so filled with darkness that even I can feel it! We have to do something, she'll hurt Ijorid and inflict her bitterness and anger to the people."
"Who's Ijorid?"
"Ijorid is the prince of this story."
"Got it. But what can I do?"
Marina eyed me with a critical expression. "Katie, if you can tap into the magic with the help of the necklace, then you can help me."
"But here's the thing. I have no clue on to how to use these supposed powers of mine. Maybe you should tell me how to do it?"
Marina blinked. "Katie, magic isn't a simple school lesson, it has to come from within you. It's more of an emotion actually, a feeling on what to do."
I was still a bit unsure. How was I supposed to "feel" in order to use the magic that is supposedly inside of me? I glanced down at my hands which were recently washed and my glitter nail polish shone with the glittering fire. Would bursts of energy erupt from these things I call my hands?
Marina reached across and clutched my hands. "Do you know why magic tends to come from our hands?"
"No, why?"
"Most of the senses which are see, hear, smell, taste, and touch all require some sort of touch. In order to see, your eyes touch the vision. To hear, your ears touch the sound. To smell, your nose touches the aroma. To taste, your tongue touches the food. Your hands are what you touch and touching is a very special ability to tap into all your senses which is needed to deliver magic."
