Ella's POV
I was currently trapped in a steel cage with no way out, did I also mention the people I'm stuck with? Selena, Snow, Briar, Jordan, Robin, and Alejandro. I was okay with a few of them, the others? Not so much. I was sitting on the hard floor and stretched my body to meet Marina's eyes. "How long have I been in here?"
Marina sighed, she clearly was not impressed by the lack of participation I was doing. "About 20 minutes."
"It's been that long?" I complained, waving my arms in exasperation. I just wanted to be in open space, at home, throwing popcorn at Warner's face while watching Legally Blonde.
Marina sighed, she put her drink down and drummed her fingers on the side of her chair. "Y'all haven't been exactly trying, you know-"
Robin shot a glare at her. "That's so not true! Look," he said as he held up a crowbar he managed to swipe, "I've been chipping away at the bars in order to break out."
Jordan blinked. "Where did you learn that hitting a steel bar with a crowbar would help?"
Robin rolled his eyes as he continued to whack at the bars. "Unlike you Mr. Fancy pants, I was in prison a few times so I had to break out quite a bit."
"Figures," Selena mumbled under her breath next to me.
"Why were you in prison so much?" Jordan asked.
"Cause I was a thief who robbed the rich to feed the poor, I had to help people and the Sheriff of Nottingham didn't understand my artistic vision."
I thought about his words. Even though Robin seemed like a jerk most of the time, he actually did have a heart inside that cold exterior. Jordan's posture relaxed as he eyed Robin as he continued to whack the steel cage. I had no idea when our time would run out and we would fail the challenge of getting out of this cage.
"If I had my wand, I could have poofed us out of here in a blink of an eye and ended this terrible entrapment. I can't stand those two," Selena continued and pointed at Jordan and Robin.
"Does that mean that you like me?" Briar timidly said, sitting a few feet away from Selena.
"Well, considering that you never apologized for pointing out fairies are sensitive," Selena replied, holding her hand out.
"But you also implied I..." Briar quickly glimpsed at Jordan before returning to talk with Selena, "you know."
Selena let out a huge sigh. "I'm...sorry. I guess I just took your worry over him to be jealousy instead of just concern over a friend. I'm kind of like Robin, making wild accusations in order to try to find out a truth."
Briar ducked down and rubbed her feet together awkwardly. "I'm sorry for rubbing the fact fairies are sensitive, I didn't mean to offend you. I guess I was already on edge for the whole J incident."
"Was that a personal attack on me?" Robin said, briefly pausing his attempt to break out of the cage. It seemed he only catched the part where Selena mentioned his name.
"Robin, this doesn't concern you. Don't you know I can't stand you?" Selena shot.
"Really? I thought it was just constant banter, like how you would treat an annoying sister," Robin admitted, looking a little hurt.
"You-you think of me as a sister?" Selena asked, her eyes wide.
"Well, I guess friends. I didn't think you really hated me."
"No, I don't. I actually do enjoy our love-hate relationship," Selena admitted.
Marina was watching us, slowly nodding in an approving stare. Why was she doing that? Was it because Selena and Robin were actually getting along? I was shocked too, what's next? Jordan and Robin become besties and Robin apologizes to Alejandro for being a meanie? I don't-
