"Spider-Man, I hope you know, wherever you are. That you killed my son." The voice from the T.V. broke down in tears.
"I told you all. He is nothing but a menace. My heart goes to all of the people who suffered in this incident. The kid, Miles Morales, was just about to join college before Spider-Man took that away from him and his family." J. Jonah's words were sincere.
(Y/N) hadn't left his room for over two days now, he didn't cry, no, he sat and watched the clock tick away the seconds.
Noise gave up on the second day, No amount of talking was getting to his head.
"Arrest him! What is our government doing? Call in the Avengers to catch him!" The opinion was mostly the same, arrest Spider-Man.
'They will turn against you.' The words of Loki wrung through his head as he tried to remember how he got to his house in the first place.
I GOT YOU HERE... YOU MASSACRED THE THING (Y/N), I HAD TO STEP IN AND GET YOU OUT OF THERE BEFORE YOU TURNED YOUR HEAD TOWARDS THE CIVS.
"T-Thank you for that..." (Y/N) was ashamed, of himself, of calling himself Spider-Man.
He looked at the mask in his hands, the weight of the responsibility it held haunting him.
It stared back at him, almost begging him to put it back on.
"I-I can't wear this again..." (Y/N) said, throwing the mask on the floor.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN'T?
"I can't. Not after causing so much harm. They're right. I need to be arrested." (Y/N) told Noise, slowly removing his suit.
THEY ARE INFLAMED RIGHT NOW, THEY DON'T HATE YOU, THEY JUST NEED A SCAPEGOAT.
"But they do... Even if they don't hate me, I-... Everything I touch, I destroy." (Y/N)'s haunting eyes wandered around the room, stopping at his and Gwen's picture. "Everything."
STOP BEING A DUMBASS.
"That is what I am!" (Y/N) didn't destroy the floor this time, "Miles... H-He had a life ahead of him man."
THAT'S ON YOUR FATHER'S HANDS, YOU STOPPED HIM FROM HURTING EVEN MORE PEOPLE.
"I will not accept that, It was my failure... my failure that killed a man... a kid." (Y/N) was not out of his suit, which he promptly threw on the ground, next to the still staring mask.

"You mustn't waste my time." Karnilla spoke to a levitating Gwen, who was focused on staying afloat. "Our time... the Abyssal things are ready to tear into this realm any moment."
"I'd learn more quickly if you got off my damn ass!" Gwen shouted as she fell to the floor, she knew the threat and why she was brought here.
The Abyssal things, residing between the nine realms. Ready to tear into Karnilla's realm.
She explained to Gwen that, normally these things were harmless but Karnilla's realm was a disruption in the time-space continuum, and it's their job to fix it.
Normally Karnilla was more than capable of holding these things back, but a chance encounter with a blackened god left her injured and powerless.
She was dying.
And before she died, she would pass on, at least some her knowledge to an apprentice.
She found that apprentice in the form of Gwen Stacy.
"Do you think about your life back at Midgard?" The Norn goddess asked Gwen who looked surprised at the sudden question.
"...Every second." Gwen thought about what (Y/N) was doing right now, probably saving the day. Definitely not going through an existential crisis.
